Buck sightings

Anyone seeing any bucks on their feet from the stand?  We’re they bothering the does or solo?

Yesterday evening multiple 1.5 year olds were chasing does all throughout a thick bedding area. Saw one 2.5 year old and he was just feeding and freshening up scrapes ignoring all the does running by him.

Young bucks are out in daylight following if not outright chasing, based on what I saw yesterday.

Twice over the past week I've seen young bucks harassing does. Nothing serious yet.

Had a spike pushing does yesterday. 3.5 year old working a scrape.

I saw three different bucks on Sunday but none were chasing does. One came out ahead of the does,one was by himself and one was just following two does. I think this weekend with the cold temps things are gonna get going fast.

Buck I killed Saturday was trailing a doe. The only other buck I seen since then was all swollen up, made a scrape and trashed some trees. Both were mature deer.

If it means anything to you, my cell cameras have been fairly active in the last few days, still mostly at night but new bucks popping in, deer running past the camera, bucks with their mouths open etc... So in my areas of 7F and 8F I think we are reaching a tipping point and anytime from here on out is worth being out there.

I just messaged my buddy that the cell cams are starting to pop again. Had a young buck cruzing mid day yesterday and the doe are back to their regular morning and night food patrol

I haven’t personally seen it. Not seeing dead bucks all over the road yet, a sure indication of walk phase starting. My buddy had a spike grunting trailing a doe yesterday. I should state he’s a cop and said at nights through the little bucks have been pestering does

Things always start to heat up around Halloween, trail cams start to show mature deer moving more in search of a hot doe. With temps in the low 20's Fri night, and a big high pressure day for Saturday, things are looking really good. It's a full moon and those are the days one should try to be in the stand all day as mid day movement is usually higher.
