Someone shot my wife's deer with a pellet gun

Found an intact pellet in the leg of her buck. Kinda lodged in the membrane between the hide and the shank meat

True story  BC at work shot one with a pellet gun that was in his garden , next morning neighbor calls to let him know there’s a dead deer in his front yard .....

I shot a buck years ago down in Steuben County that I had mounted. The taxidermist found a 22 bullet under the skin in his head when he was fleshing it out. You never know what the deer we shoot have been through before we get them.

No expansion, so I'll wait for the new ballistic tips before I try one.
