I scroll the "unread content" of this HUNTING forum and a lot of good stuff falls down and never gets seen because of the political clutter. The 20 or so active users a day aren't changing their political opinions. Go post stuff on facebook if you need to reach an audience. I haven' said anything for a while, because you're right i don't have to click. But you seem to be picking up steam lately.

I enjoy the political banter and some of us feel the need to vent to like minded individuals. Like you have said yourself, you don't have to read it. How does it not get seen? You can scroll and scroll and scroll.....

Your over your Quota for posting political topics in the Political discussion section, on this HUNTING forum. 

The Thought Police have spoken, So pay a quota tax or off to camp with you.

Maybe NY state will impose a Political posting panel, so they can tell you how many post's your allowed to post, so no one gets offended ?

Then NY state will have to form an Political posting fine panel, so they can then impose a fine that'll fit the crime and bring in revenue to the state.

This will also cause more people to start smoking Marijuana, which will also bring in more revenue to the state, once they legalize drugs.

Buttttt, if you don't pay your fine and get thrown in jail, then you'll get the vaccine, as it seems that if your in jail, you get first dib's on getting the vaccine.

It's all making sense now.

Or you could just not post anything, put on your Brown shirt and get in line.

When you open facebook, IG, huntingny etc for a few minutes during a commercial break from a game you're watching how far do you REALLY scroll though? For me I take breaks at work and that usually just means a glance at the front page. If you're on mobile, the scrolling is even harder.

I have no issue with political banter. I've often proposed, but never seem to get my wish that there be a dedicated thread for politics. It would be no different from live from the woods, what are you eating, beer, lawn etc. We already have a pretty good precedent on this site for lumping stuff together so those who enjoy it can dip in and those that don't can't scroll past. That's all I'm asking for here.

I am missing something (it happens from time to time).

Seems to me the site already filters out political posts (at least on my PC & phone). Political posts are in the directory: Home -Other -Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions and don't show up in "recent topics"; you have to actually want to read them to find them. I DO realize they show up in "unread posts", but are labeled as political posts, is it really a big deal to scroll on past?

Or do I just have a different version of this website?
