How long do you all typically get out of your four wheeler battery ?  Mine doesn’t seem to be holding a charge. It’s probably about five years old or so. I put very few hours on it yearly.

I usually put a new one in every three years. Just to avoid a weak battery. I use the Wally World ones.

5yrs is awhile most likely need a new one

My King quad 400 has the original battery in it. 10 years old lol. Like you it has low mileage. I'm lucky!

One thing that helps a batteries life span is hooking up a float charger over the winter when they sit for extended periods in the cold . But having said that 5 years is a good run .

The way to get maximum years out of your atv battery is to keep it on a battery tender Jr. when it is not in use. In addition to getting long life out of your battery you will always have a fully charged battery everytime you start up. Def trickle charge it .I get mine at auto zone  or any auto store .

Used to get 2-3 yrs. Bought a good gel battery years ago and still going strong, no tender either

I changed the battery and it fired right up. I’ll keep it on a tender over the winter.

This is what I do for all my seasonal stuff. Battery tender brand has always been good to me.

Avoid trickle charges, use a smart charger like a tender.
