5 on Wordle today.  My wife got it in TWO!  WTF….

Today I read that Wordle was purchased by the NYTIMES. It will remain free to current subscribers.   

Also, learned it was invented by a guy from Brooklyn as a gift to his partner.  His last name is Wardle, so the game name is a play on his last name.

Phew, in 4.  

I wonder if there is a way to see how you score against everyone else that played it that day?  That would be a nice feature.

ok so...... does anyone else do this?  I enter the same two words for the first two guesses everytime to get letters.

I have used 3 or 4 different first words, I try to use ones loaded with vowels.   If I get any matches, the second word will have that match in it.  But when stuck I have used letters with no known matches just to eliminate or narrow down remaining letters.  It uses up a guess, but when your stuck, it can help.  Yesterday’s HNY version stumped me and I went off course twice trying to figure it out!
