Luck. So much seems to depend on that first guess that I've given up on any real strategy once I found that the same starter really wasn't giving me much of an advantage. The only thing I do consistently is put any letters I get at the front of my next guess, which really helped today.

First shot at quardle. Took me three guesses to figure out how to play. Only got three words before I guessed out.
