Friend of mine just sent me pics of a 9 pointer he just got saterday. Biggest buck hes ever shot. I think he said it has a 20 or 23in spread.

Mineral and salt substances are also illegal. C'mere Deer, Illegal. Get over it, stop being lazy and use real scouting tactics to position your cams.

Yesterday - I watched a mink chase a chipmunk within 2 feet of me. It then proceded to chase it right at me - i had to jump up and they went within a foot of my left leg ! The chipmunk escaped into a hole. Here's the best part - the mink then turned looked at me and charged me ! it must have been ticked off that it lost it's meal - it stoped about 2 feet from me and stared me down for a good 60 seconds

We have 300+ acres that we hunt on with not much bedding area. the deer are more or less passin through to and from the crop fields. we do stick to a 3pt on one side rule and take our does. i was tryin to tell them that the guy's on the surounding property's are talking all the 4's and spike's that they are passin on. so in my opinion is the buc's are not getin any older. openin day there was shootin all around us. and not one shot from our guys. they all saw buck's but they were spike's and 4's. so i say if you see it and you want it take it. or take your camera not your gun..

These questions and opinions of to take or not to take are crazy. There are so many variables in deer management and hunting. How much land to you own? What are the other local hunters practicing? What is the buck to doe ratio? How healthy is your population/herd? Coming from somebody who started hunting on a farm that practiced QDM, I would have taken him! I missed out on so many bucks as a kid, and was only allowed to shoot certain bucks. It sucked! That's not what hunting should be about. You can't eat the horns. Unless you own 500+ acres, and have the support of other local land ownders, QDM is a waste of time.

Your a better man than me. I would have dragged him by his scruff to the dec and then had him prosecuted to the fullest. Some people just have no common sense and sometimes need it beat into them. I wouldn't let it get to you. You know your right and he's wrong. Get back in the woods and enjoy!

I would never sit close enough to be in view of any hunter, state land or no state land... I will go as far as it takes to put distance between me and another hunter in the woods... especially someone I don't know... the only exception would be with a young hunter hunting with me that I might need to keep an eye out for... even then there would be strict rules of where, and when he/ she would be shooting... and I would rather sit with the youngster and not hunt (meaning not even carry a weapon... well maybe a camera)...

You obviously have the accuracy.. Don't worry about the performance of the Brenneke slugs.. They will get the job done.. Im my opinion they a FAR superior to foster type slugs, and this opinion is based on shooting a few dozen deer with each type.
