Im with skillet..... bought my gf a nice card, a nice thing of flowers, and actually wrote a nice lil letter in the card, and she is being a total biotc...... today, so i threw everything in the yard..... btw, this is the first time i actually did something like this for her for this stupid holiday. I hate this holiday.

After being married for 20 years, we don't bother with commercialized made up holidays like Valentines Day anymore. Nevertheless, this year is different. Our Valentines gift to each other was paying off our home mortgage yesterday which is I think better than candy and flowers any day of the year.

Not for nothing but this reminds me of that kid who was trying to sue McDonalds for making him fat. Plain and simple. If you don't like it, don't buy it. I don't understand why people buy it and then complain about it. No one if putting a gun to your head and forcing you to eat at McDonalds either.

Wow, got to say this is a really screwed up ad. Just imagine if someone involved in the meat industry did an ad where they claimed that by eating meat you could do the same thing to a woman? It would be a huge scandal where they would be accused of promoting violence against women, while peta can get away with it it seems.

Just read this post on FB: Why females should avoid a girls night out after they are married.... (To be politically correct, you may substitute "males" for females and "wife" for husband) The other night I was invited out for a night with the 'girls.' I told my husband that I would be home by midnight, 'I promise!' Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easily. Around 3 a.m., a bit loaded, I headed for home. ... Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hallway started up and cuckooed 3 times. Quickly, realizing my husband would probably wake up, I cuckooed another 9 times. I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution in order to escape a possible conflict with him. (Even when totally smashed.... 3 cuckoos plus 9 cuckoos totals = 12 cuckoos MIDNIGHT!) The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, I told him 'MIDNIGHT'... he didn't seem angry in the least. Whew, I got away with that one! Then he said 'We need a new cuckoo clock.' When I asked him why, he said, 'Well, last night our clock cuckooed three times, then said 'oh sh*t.' Cuckooed 4 more times, cleared its throat, cuckooed another three times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, and then tripped over the coffee table and farted''!!

I run a small outdoor store where we have American made product sitting right next to Chinese made product (primarily kayaks). As an example the American made kayak costs $800 and the Chinese made product cost $500. The Chinese product is built just as well as the American product and outsells the American boats all day long. It costs more to produce product in the US and American consumers don't care where it's made as long as it's less expensive. If I just carried American made product I'd be out of business...

You fellas love to bitch it seems. Not all products made in China are junk. For what you pay for them, many items actually are pretty good. Try making them in the US for the price? Plenty of electronic items made there that work quite well. Plus I have bought plenty of items made in the US over the years that were pretty close to being junk, too. I have had numerous washers, dryers made in the US that needed constant repair, so exactly where was the American quality and craftsmanship on those items? Nowhere!

As I sit here on a Sunday morning drinking my coffee I have become consumed with anger that a great part of society is grieving Whitney Houston and blaming Bobby Brown soley for her death. Well, addiction is no joke; but she started into drugs on her own and no one forced her to take coke or smoke a crack pipe. I am sick of selfish people blaminmg others for their "misfortunes in life", ones they created them selves by BAD CHOICES. We have thousands of sick children, wounded soldiers attempting to recover from battle wounds, and many more that have lost their lives. Yet, headline are rampant when Whitney and Michael die. Both dead at their own hands. I needed to vent and fell free to agree or disagree with me. But people need to MAKE GOOD CHOICES for them selves, their families and the community......there is help out there, seek it out and make a better life.....no one should be a victim twice !!!!! I feel sad for the family left behind by these deaths but they were hardly unpredictable !!!!! Thanks.......................................

Yep. Ill most likely be keeping my good cam pics to myself this year. Shared them with some other guys that hunt the farm last year and they hunted the piss out of the area. I still saw most of the bucks I was after, but I feel I should have seen them more. Ill be only showing the pics after I kill the deer from here on out. Lesson learned.

Good gravy, I havent even given Whitney Houston or her death half a thought lol. Right now is the most Ive mentioned it. I could care less about celebrities, there are those I am a fan of their work, but as far as their personal lives go, I dont care. Most of them are just as, if not more messed up than the average person anyway, so why worry about it. Doesnt affect my life at all.

why is she so bad? If she had not been managed by a bunch of fools in mccains campaign and been allowed to go out and speak the truth rather than the white washed crap allowed mccain would be president now. She didnt get to be a governor because she is dumb. She is exactly what we need someone not afraid to say what they stand for and be willing to run on it rather than say what the polls say they should say. She has more of a back bone than any of the fools running. So is good ol mitt what we need or newt? Such sexist comments never help. I would love to have any of you including me debate he ron the issues we all seem to have the answers for.

I have eaten deer from all over NY ... I usually don't eat raw meat, so how any deer tastes is entirely dependent on the cook.... I have had fawn that has tasted awful, and 8 year old buck that has been delicious... it's all about the cook my friends.
