Ok last try... I took this bird today in Little Valley @ 11:55 AM.! 18lbs., 9" beard, and 1" spurs. I think I posted this in 3 different places in an attempt to get it in the contest.

went to little valley this morning didn't hear any at sunup so I started run and gun, got a gobble at 7ish he gobbled to the crows and every time i tried to get close he would move away. I assume he was with hens. Saw a single hen on the way back to my truck. went back out after coffee at 8:30 and nothing.. at 11:30 I decided to head back to truck, tried 1 last call on the way out and got a response! 11:55 longbeard down!! Unbelievable how fast it can happen.

Haha- I'm practically tripping over these things every morning on my way to the turkey blinds. I spotted another reflection today that tipped me off to this guy in the creek bottom. Just a tiny glimmer that I almost thought was a drop of dew on the grass shining back at me. Here's #2! I'll call him "Dewie",lol

So I was standing on my porch with wife when we herd a snort....I looked over and a doe came running out from behind barn snorting at a cat. The doe chased this cat back and forth thru the field for a good min or so...I knew there had to be a fawn so I called my 4 year old out and we watched this doe...the fawn finally stood up and was the smallest fawn I've ever seen still new on its feet from what I could tell. Mom and fawn just wondered around field for about 30 min before started up the hill...very cool for wife kids and me. And this was all happening 40 or 50 yards off back porch. Pics are on camera and I don't have comp we use our phones so when I have a chance I'll post pics...I so have mom pic but can't make out fawn on phone pic... Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk

You are giving Cuomo WAY too much credit, if you think he has the slightest chance in the world to become president. He has ZERO chance, and you can take that one to the bank. He wouldn't be elected dog catcher on a national level.

Along with joining the NRa SCOPE NYRPA, send some money to Astorino's campaign. He will need it if we expect him to win. If you want him to get his name out there, assist him in doing so. The suggestion has been 10 dollars for every gun you own. Not too much to ask. he can not finance this on his own. Dig deep

Regardless of what wife thinks, the trophy gets mounted. That is totally irrelevant. I have a basement, I have a garage. For now, the trophy is hanging in the basement. And with the divorce rate being 50%, why wouldn't I spend $500 for a nice mount

Have only heard one gobble (far, far away, haha!) so far this season, but I can normally only hunt on weekends. I'm in 9x. I haven't heard any hens (or guys!) yapping either. I stay patient and hope maybe one will come in silently but so far not a feather. It's okay, I have to say this has been the least buggy year in memory so far (at least where I am) so the woods are very enjoyable even without turkeys talking to me.

yeah that is a tough one used them a lot when playing paintball not sure if it would be assault if they were "setting up to play a game" & he shouldn't be on the property?
