I wanted to share a hunt from this years turkey season... There is a nice write up on ny antlers outdoors site that my cousin wrote up. But to make a long story short we snuck in on these birds and ended up baging two with one gun. Anyways I wanted to share a pic of the tripple beard. The longest beard was six inches. I thought it was the icing on the cake to top off an amazing hunt that we will never forget.

Those are the deer I look for. I don't look for the smartest as they all taste the same!

I'll make a few copies we can go.in do some shopping then auction off the keys lol

I hate seeing all these deer hit along the road this time of year! Does laying all over! I've seen more deer hit in the past couple of weeks (fawning season) than I saw during the rut last fall!

So I hop in the car and start down the driveway on my way into town, there in the middle of the lawn is fawn laying there looking around just like it was hiding from the world. No where's near any bushes or any cover at all ...... completely out in the open, and barely paying any attention to me at all. So I just pulled way over to the far side of the driveway and drove slowly past, and he didn't even twitch. When I got home, he was gone. My guess is that when I came out of the house, the doe probably left the lawn, and the fawn instinctively knew to lay down and be still. Nobody ever explained to him that part of that defense is to be hidden ..... lol. Anyway all's well that ends well, and hopefully this isn't a sign of the little deer's intelligence, or lack thereof.

I hope home field advantage will wake the Rangers up, losing 2 games in OT sucks....

2 OT losses in LA .. This could be a real short series. I give it 5 games. I'm a Sabres fan but I lean towards LA as my son is living in S. CAL and #23 Brown is an Ithaca boy!

Nice save…… A few years ago I had a real small one in my back yard. I got him into a Bud -Lite box and brought him (or her) to a pond down the road. Im sure he/she is still there.
