  1. Perhaps they should. Perhaps could apply to many aspects of relationships since the divorce rate is so high and moving on with a "family" has become so common without the commitment of marriage. I thoroughly understand the rights a woman deserves and wants for her body. I just find it difficult to totally ignore the males' role and I think to say he has no rights in the matter is wrong. Since we are talking about consensual relationships here, (and I know this will sound crass and uncaring)If the woman wants to maintain 100% control and say about her body, keep your legs together. The same as I feel about men, if you don’t want to be held accountable, keep it in your pants. Once you decide to take that step and choose to involve another person with your body, I am not sure you can call foul and then say they can’t be involved. Perhaps one needs a contract before they climb in the sack nowadays.

  2. How can a personal belief on this topic be wrong? some think that life begins at conception and others at the point of awarness. To some it is a mass of cells and to others it is life.I have a 17 year old daughter soon to be headed to college. I pray I never have to go down that road, but in a couple months she is a legal adult and she can take the views we instilled in her and use tham as she believes is right. We did the best we could and now it is cross you fingers time. I am not father of the year by any stretch but I wish that all these kids hitting the streets would put their kids first and it might be a different world.

  3. Just a month after the passage of the New York state Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act (SAFE), comes another noble nanny-state proposal from the office of Governor Andrew Cuomo. The New York Directive to Regulate Inessential Vehicle Effectiveness Act (DRIVE) seeks to limit the capabilities of so-called "assault vehicles" which contributed to the deaths of 1,077 people and injury to over 128,000 on New York State roadways in 2011. The city of New York reported another 250 deaths and over 49,000 injuries resulting from vehicular assaults in the same period. Cuomo stated, "this new law will limit vehicular violence through common sense, and reasonable reforms that will make New York a safer place to live. When society confronts serious issues, it is the function of government to do something, and the NY DRIVE Act will now give New York State the toughest, strongest protections against vehicular violence in the nation." Provisions in the DRIVE Act would ban multiple makers of vehicles including Lamborghini, Porsche, and Ferrari, as well as many more common models such as the Chevy Corvette and Camaro, Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger and Charger. "Classic" versions of these cars (those over 20 years old) would have to be reregistered with the state and have their ignition system removed. Cuomo remarked on the proposal, "these are the vehicles the police use. Citizens don't need these vehicles. These vehicles serve no purpose for defensive driving." If passed, the DRIVE Act would ban the sale of these "assault vehicles" within New York State. Residents would be required to transfer or sell the vehicles out of state or turn them over to the NYS Department of Motors Vehicles (DMV) within one year. After one year, these vehicles would be banned from operation on NYS roadways. Violation through possession would result in charges of a Class D Felony, punishable by no more than 5 years in prison and a $7,500 fine. Other provisions of the DRIVE Act include, — Enhanced Driving Record checks to ensure those who have committed a vehicular crime in the past no longer have access to their weapon of choice. — Bans on spoilers, low profile tires, ground effects kits, and the color red. In addition to many other speed enhancements. — Bans on tinted windows for concealed occupant carry. — Passenger limits of four persons per vehicle. Current vehicle capacity is exempted under the regulations as long as no more than four persons are loaded into the vehicle. — Bans on passenger vehicles with a curb weight exceeding 4,000 lbs or more than 200 horsepower. — Bans on commercial pickup trucks with greater than a half-ton bed capacity or greater than 400 foot-pounds of torque. — Along with mandatory reporting of "large quantity" fuel purchases that could indicate use for illegal activity. State Assemblyman Sheldon Silver (D) called Cuomo "the Mary Poppins of our time." He went on to say, "under normal circumstances Governor Cuomo would prescribe a spoon full of sugar to make the medicine go down. However in this instance he can not with consideration of the NYS SODA Act on the table." The SODA Act (State Order for Dietary Acceptability) requested by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg would ban high capacity sugary drinks. Further provisions would seek to prevent the sale of so called "assault milkshakes" which wage daily war on the lactose intolerant.

  9. I think his point, that you can not label a child who was born into a bad situation. While the circle does continue in many cases. That child deserves a chance as well and there are many rags to riches stories to prove it.

  11. I'll tell you what ants...When you can come to me and tell me that you personally have ever carried a fetus in your body and understand all the physical and mental processes the go with doing so...we'll talk about how it should or should not be expressly the woman's decision. Until that point you are just a talking head very detached from the subject at hand.

  12. Yeah nothing funny there, just a display of the sad, misinformed society all around us, oblivious to reality and more worried about becoming a "blogger millionaire" and making sure that their kids are shielded from all of that horrific nature type stuff.

  13. Don't really care if i get a deer anymore, would rather see my friends /guests get one. i'm more about scouting / habitat manipulation, and get my satisfaction telling someone to be in a stand at 1/4 to 4 and the buck will be there at 4:15. don't miss! Absolute best feeling when they connect!

  14. "There is no need to carry this large balance with the current staffing levels in the Division of Fish, Wildlife, and Marine Resources so reduced revenues and reduced fees seem to be completely in order and are consistent with Governor Cuomo's messages." So why not hire more Encon officers instead? We need them more than a few dollars taken off of our license fees.

  19. dont lump us all in together. Many of us belong to a party because generally it more closely aligns with our values then the others. But there are many things I disagree with that my party supports. Why we should do away with the party system in general. But I do find it interesting that you want govt support for those who fall on hard times (welfare). So do I. But then you want that person sterilized to collect the check? So if I'm a 25 year old non-working parent. My spouse dies and I fall on hard times, I'm not given a chance to collect myself, possibly remarry and then start a new family? It's amazing how simple some of you believe welfare is. If it was so cut and dry, we wouldn't have the mess we do now. Did you know in Michigan a lottery winner continued to collect unemployment after making millions because lottery winnings aren't considered income? http://www.globalpos...erdose-get-rich the answer is to fix the loopholes, drug testing, and checks/balances and limits on our social programs. But when the bleeding hearts see the welfare abuser finally put out on the street... we scream injustice, and "oh what can we do to save these poor soles?"

  20. joseph you are a simply a little boy talking out of your behind. Probably still using a computer to get your jollies off. If you believe you can just tell teens not to have sex and they will listen you should go get your head examined. The abortion laws should be decided by the woman who make the choice. NOT A BUNCH OF MEN! To argue that why not kill children or young kids is just a joke that I and many other pro choice supporters will not even argue. Most of the time the fetus would not live if it was born premature, even weeks can put a damper on things. So how is this considered A human life? IT COULD NOT LIVE WITHOUT THE HOST ie. THE MOTHER! As grow pointed out look at the orphanages in this country and foster houses. Why put a child through that. I firmly believe if you are one to get rid of abortion you should be willing to adopt kids and be willing to pay for the children brought into this world because you stripped the mothers rights.

  21. the only one who has the right to comment on this subject is Grow and the other ladies. The rest of you MEN, should leave it alone. it happens man. I had a few close calls in high school but thankfully never that turned into tough decisions and we were very careful. You can be as responsible as a teenager can be sometimes and your urges will get the best of you. Think you have a condom on you, got her all warmed up, laying there in front of you and ready to go and realize you dont... which head do you think wins that decision?

  22. speaking from military experience I know negligent discharges happen, but they always seemed to happen to boneheads. The entire time I carried a 9mm, M-16, or a shotgun I never had an ND. I'm not judging this guy before it I know the details, but to not know how it happened ought not be an excuse for a professional.

  24. If only I didn't carry a mask, gloves, bug spray, shells, a box call, slate call, owl hooter, multiple diaphragm calls, shiit paper, matches, fire starter, compass, water bottle, snack bars, attached seat cushion and pouch to carry the bird I guess I wouldn't need a vest. Until I quit carrying all that crap I'll still be wearing the old vest. Yes Dan, this is the Duxbak vest that Dick Kirby designed many years ago. She sags a bit when you toss 20lbs of shear joy into it! I've sew it back together many times and one zipper is chicken chow mein........

  29. Thanks again guys! I gathered some materials for a plaque on my last hike. Just an old weathered fence post and some rusty barbed wire. The wire doesn't go all the way around so it sits flush on the wall. Filled the brain cavity with some skull putty and screwed it from behind. That's it.... Simple is good I suppose. Now I'm done and satisfied

  30. I have a picture of myself in 3rd or 4th grade, in the classroom, dressed up as a soldier with a toy Uzi, which really looked like an Uzi. No orange tip, it was all black and had all of the real features molded into it. It was absolutely no problem and caused no second though what so ever. Insane how far the pussification of this society has gone.

  31. I've easily had the most success with my diaphragm calls but love to suck in the hung up ones with the slate call. My problem with the slate is sometimes it sounds like DOGDUNG. I've tried a bunch of different ones and different strikers and still have up & down results. The box is mostly just a locater call for me. I couldn't finish off a 35lb domestic bird with a box call. BUT......I always have at least one and sometimes two box calls ready to roll in my vest. My crow call is my favorite shock gobbler call. I use a hooter until I hear the first real crow of the morning although I will admit to being the first crow on the block to be calling some mornings!!! Do you have a turkey hunting vest yet? Get a good one cause you might have it for 30+ years like me. Heck, you don't see camo like this anymore!!
