  1. It really is a great bow, I have no regrets on it. Having a familiar set-up on it now with the new sight and rest makes it way more comfortable for me.
  2. Yes, new to me this past winter. I've wanted one since they came out, and I happened on one on Craigslist in January.
  3. Hence the saying that we learn through pain
  4. I didn't have my anchor point right, easy fix.
  5. I had my coat on, but it was a solid enough slap to still get me. Reminded me real quick that I need to watch my bow arm position I never had to worry about it when I was shooting the short draw.
  6. I dropped my bow off at the local shop yesterday. I wanted to go back to horizontal sights and a Whisker Biscuit. I've been shooting this bow about an inch short, and he happened to have the mods to bring it back to a 30.5 DL, which is pretty much spot on for me. Had a Custom Bow Equipment Tactic 3 pin and a Whisker Biscuit Kill Shot installed while it was there. I got it home, and after messing with the gang adjustment at 20 (I'll work on sighting in another day) and taking a pretty good slap on the arm after the DL adjustment, I'd say she's grouping pretty well.
  7. Any experience with releases like these? I kind wonder if this wouldn't be a good blend of caliper/thumb... https://www.lancasterarchery.com/t-r-u-ball-truball-max-hunter-release-camo.html
  8. Good to know. If I end up doing it, I'll obviously be making an investment, since they aren't cheap. Might as well go all in if I go in at all.
  9. What type of releases are everyone using for their hunting bows? I've always used a wrist strap style, caliper release (index trigger), but have thought about trying out a thumb release. Just curious what everyone's opinions are.
  10. What a great idea Moho! I too am very blessed that both my wife and I are in a good position work wise, but I would be happy to help out someone in need.
  11. Now on eBay: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5575378759&campid=5338273189&customid=&icep_item=153892859659&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg&toolid=11111

  13. Just what I was looking for Grampy, thanks!
  14. Anyone have recommendations of bodies of water where a person might be able to catch a few catfish near Ballston Spa/Saratoga Springs?
  15. How big is it? Could be black bear...
  16. Awesome shot. I would be sending that one to Moultrie...
  17. I ditched the online sight, I just couldn't get used to it.
  18. Thanks, let me think on it. I certainly won't be out Stueben County way until Cornell starts letting us have programs again.
