    Beautiful red fox so far. It’s raining leaves like crazy, very loud. Two hours ago i got a pic of a buck nosing around a few hundred yards behind me. Hope hes still around.

    Good thing i finished fall chores and i can hunt with my bolt launching gun tomorrow.

    Mostly mornings for me. Although two years ago i got a beautiful buck at sunset opening day of gun in 8F. I have killed truck loads of doe after 3pm however.

    Ive had a new buck show up a few times this past month. He looks tasty.

    Silicone spray. It dries and doesn’t get sticky.

    Once or twice a year to hit up Cabelas. When is the best time of year? Id assume the fall/winter for the fat content. Ive seen steve rinella from meateater prepare beaver various times and the tail fried over a fire looks enticing.

    Im big on family relics. Very cool. We have a few milk can around as well. My parents had one on their patio my entire childhood. Had flowers painted on it. My great grandmother was a decent artist.

    Nice bucks. I have seen some slammers killed in the savannah, clyde, weedsport, port byron areas. They’re out there for sure.
