    Well punched my buck tag this morning right at sunrise. He has shown up on camera multiple times on the farm but never where i was today go figure. Feels great to fill both of my buck tags this year. Shot him with my Remington 700 bdl chambered in .222 Remington. He went a few feet and fell over. That little Federal 50 grain soft point turned his lungs to raspberry jello. Even got the wife in for a picture. She saw three doe but were in the thicket where i killed the buck, no shot.

    Big six point came out ears pinned back and stiff legged at dusk to fight a fork horn that was bumping a doe. Took him left handed because i didnt want to risk moving too much as I was on the ground in a Rhino blind. My second buck with the crossbow. He is 16 inches wide dressed out at 155. I checked a camera and found a picture of him the day i killed him (November 8th) just on the other end of the farm.

    I have the thermacell insoles and they are only ok. As previously posted you can’t wait for your feet to get cold. I just use chemical toe warmers these days. I like the ones with the sticky side that i cant stick to the top of my toes, over the sock of course.

    Thats what i wanna see. 50 acres of corn getting cut down by my main gun hunting woods. There is a hundred acre field to the left on the other side of the woods that got cut last week. Cant wait! I wanna see some action out there ladies and gentlemen. Good luck to everyone out today.

    I believe that was coyote they ate and didn’t like. That bobcat meat looks very similar to mountain lion meat. They both look like pork and im told is very good eating.

    I hope to see some great hero pics posted today. I wanna see some action out there! Im getting the butcher shop set up this morning . Skinned him out last night. He had a bunch of ticks on him which i don’t normally see in my area.
