  1. I am speaking of every democrat that breathes....lol. It is not hypocrisy to be concerned about the integrity of the U.S. voting system. If there are sworn affidavits alleging fraud or failures of the system, I can't really understand why members of either party wouldn't be interested in finding and correcting things that impact the accuracy of results whether it changes the outcome or not.
  2. So the pinkos are now successful in politicizing a vaccine. It almost sounds like they are hopeful that it doesn't work. What kind of geniuses get that sort of hatred working for them. Frankly, I will be as close to the head of the line as I can get. I am in the high-risk part of the population, and I don't have the Trump Derangement Syndrome to the point of imagining up some conspiracy theory regarding mass homicide organized by Donald Trump. You people are starting to get severely ridiculous.
  3. It wasn't just idle chit-chat when so many of us warned about this. Those that voted for Biden can now see all of these warnings (and many others) coming to real parts of our lives. And this guy isn't even President yet. And heaven forbid, if the Republicans lose control of the Senate in the Georgia run-offs. it is not just imagination when people speak of unheard-of gun control acts. The gun owner harassments will make it just plain miserable to own any kinds of guns. They don't have to repeal the 2nd Amendment to destroy private ownership of guns, and it doesn't really have to be AR-style guns only. Somebody once said that "We get exactly the kind of government we deserve", and they were absolutely correct. Before the new regime is finished with us, the confiscatory policies on guns will be the very least of our losses in this country. We tried to warn about all of this. The commies and those that can't see beyond the end of their noses thought they knew better. Well here is a preview of where things will go now.
  4. And it should also be pointed out that lying on these sworn affidavits come under the same legal penalties that apply to the crime of perjury. So they are not to be taken lightly. But, I have to wonder what the democrats are afraid of. Are they really all that terrified that investigations into these allegations might shine some light on some of their less-than-legal tactics. I think it's time to put a spotlight on the democrat's disregard for decency and honor and the rule of law. I also think that the panicked squeals coming from the democrats sounds a lot like terror of having their mis-deeds being finally uncovered. All this noise sure does smell like a warning flag that there really is some reason for concern regarding the questionable tactics that may have been used during this election by the left. The more they protest, the more I want to see a full investigation started immediately.
  5. Generally speaking, the first necessary things involving investigations are simply allegations. That is what starts the ball rolling. And as far as what evidence is present and available, I suspect that you really don't have any credible secret sources that are whispering in your ear about what has or has not been gathered for prosecution.
  6. Actually there has been plenty of evidence and allegations offered. It is up to courts to determine the future action on these allegations. And that is the proper process that is going on right now. It sounds like a worthwhile investigation that is long overdue to me. Do not be so quick to criticize the system for doing what it is intended to do in an attempt to safeguard our election process. At least these allegations will be settled a lot quicker and cheaper and with a whole lot more decency than all the concerted interference, and negativity, and the almost 4 years of trying to cripple and destroy the proper functioning of the U.S. government that the entire Democrat party was complicit in throughout the entire Trump presidency.
  7. I do not pretend to have some kind of insider information on the strange stories of suspicious tampering with votes and voting procedures, but I certainly think that extensive investigations of each alleged violation should be done to safeguard the process. And it should be examined for both parties. I get real suspicious when it turns out to be one party that is throwing up road blocks and complaining the loudest about taking the time and effort to investigate these things. It seems to me that the Democrats should be just as concerned as the Republicans about an issue that could affect both parties. I applaud President Trump for pushing the issue. It may not change the results of the election at all, but the integrity of the vote will at least have been examined.
  8. The one thing that we as New Yorkers have first hand experience with is just how far these people can get with gun banning and gun owner harassment while still working their way around the 2nd Amendment. We are so focused on the difficulty of repealing the 2nd amendment that we have lost sight of the many advances that the gun-grabbers have already made even with the 2nd amendment firmly still in place. Well now that the socialists are in power, we can see what this all translates to on a national level. Thank God for the appointments to the Supreme Court that President Trump made. Perhaps some of these anti gun-owner laws will begin being successfully challenged in court.
  9. It is funny (but sad) that the majority of voters think the presidential election is a personality contest.
  10. It has been interesting watching the non-politician (Trump) battling the life-long political hack with the polished political machine and the news media (slippery Joe). Did trump make a pile of mis-statements that a professional liar and crook and politician would never do? You bet. When you fight the establishment without knowing all the rules and dirty tricks, I guess a slip-of-the-tweet here and there should be expected without a lifetime of training in lying, deceit. Joe definitely had the edge in terms of fooling the public. But some of us were a little tired of the old business-as-usual leadership. I guess most people just whine about crooked politicians and the rest of us really wanted someone to shake up the swamp. But it looks like the swamp won this time. It's not the first time, but unfortunately, it is the country that lost.
  11. Yeah, life is good. I stop in here every so often just to see what's going on. Not too many of us ol' timers still active here from what I see. But I just had to drop in and see how many of the so-called pro gun-rights hunters there were that thought Biden was a good choice to safeguard our hunting implements.......lol.
  12. Yes, it is far better that we are now going to have a President of Biden's flawless character. For gosh sakes people!
  13. So, according to the socialists of the 2016 election, I am looking for the time when we conservatives are supposed start the primal screams with the tears of anguish streaming down our faces and the screams of, "Biden is not our President." And of course we are supposed to vow that we will paralyze the country with resistance without a care of what's good for the nation. That's the left's version of losing an election. Country be damned, we need to throw a tantrum. You all remember how it went......right? And when that doesn't work, we can do a little burning and looting. Isn't that the way we are supposed to react? But, you know what, all that probably won't happen will it?
  14. Every success that the left makes move our gun ownership rights closer to disappearing. I realize that it is almost impossible to do away with any constitutional elements, but look at the steps they have already successfully taken in terms of neutering the 2nd amendment. Be thankful that Trump got the supreme court justices that he did. And that will be good until they pack the court. I'm not sure what they need to do that. But anyway America got hurt big time this year, and gun rights likely will be the least of our worries. By the way, when are we supposed to begin wailing and weeping and burning and looting. That's what's supposed to be done by the losing side isn't it? I could use a bigger TV.
  15. Can you imagine the panic involved? You live in a time and place where videos of people being beaten with sticks, knocked to the ground and being beaten and kicked, houses and businesses being burned, people beating up police, and burning their cars, Cops being ordered by their superiors to stand down and not aid people who are being attacked, People pretending to be protesters supposedly exercising their free speech activities being reduced to nothing more than wild uncontrolled animals prowling the streets preying on any innocent citizens. Now they focus on your residence making threats and perhaps even forcing the gate open. I wonder why they didn't shoot. They had to believe that their very lives and property were in imminent danger. What exactly does anyone expect. And now there are people that feel that something legally should be done to those who are simply protecting themselves. I will say that it is just lucky for these anarchists that something far more devastating wasn't done to them than simply warnings and gestures. Let's try to be a little bit honest here and ask ourselves what would you do if you only had some guns in the house to defend yourself. Now remember.....I said let's be HONEST.
  16. Are you saying that there was no broken down gate? Or are you saying that no one bothered to film that? I mean, I can understand why the socialist media would not bother to publish anything that would indicate forced entry, but it seems that a broken down gate or lack of it would be some immediate evidence of what the intentions were. It certainly would convince me that defensive measures were imminently required.
  17. Do you have some secret knowledge that the facts were anything but what the couple stated? Are we to assume that the gate broke itself down? What do you think these people had in mind when they broke down the gate? Were they coming in for coffee?
  18. I hate to tell you, but all of this lawlessness and property destruction and threats to innocent people are indeed political activity. It has roots in anarchy and communism and socialism and the destruction of the American system, and you know it. What on earth do you think it is? Further, when property is confiscated contrary to constitutional protections, there damn well better be some very clear evidence supporting such actions, not some suppositions and fantastic biased interpretations of the law.
  19. 28 degrees this morning. It seems planting might be better if we wait to the end of May. I just noticed that the pear blossoms are out right now.....That probably ain't too good.
  20. There has to be some tremendous stock bargains out there right now.
  21. However, there is one bird that I have problems with I call it "The Big-mouth Bird".........Most people call them blue jays. They have some favorite seeds (sunflower seeds)and that take that big beak and shovel seeds out of the feeder and onto the ground until they finally come to one of the sunflower seeds. Of course the doves, deer and squirrels are thankful for that, but its costing me a fortune trying to keep up with feeding every critter in the woods.
  22. Aw-w-w-w-w........Look at how the big, bad, evil, hunters want to shoot all those cute little wild puppy-dogs. How terrible. You know if coyotes looked like opossums, nobody would say a word. But they look too much like our family pets, and the human mind melts into a puddle of goo. Perhaps when the next epidemic of rabies, distemper, or mange comes along, that method of control will be much more easy to accept. Those kinds of things are the alternative way of population control when it comes to coyotes. I guess not too many people think about the fact that other than man, coyotes are pretty much uncontrolled at the top of the food chain here in NYS and many other states. Perhaps reading up on the symptoms of some of these canine diseases would put hunting in a much better light. None of them are a very nice way to go when compared to a bullet.
  23. Hunting near a nuclear power plant????
  24. Animals give us so much, unconditionally, and we can't help but get caught up in a bond that is so painful to break. I am sorry to hear about Max, and I completely understand the feeling of loss that you are going through.
  25. It's funny to listen to all the theories about why there are so many deer or so few deer. Most of them sound fairly credible because we all have had the same thoughts at one time or another. The one observation that I keep encountering is the shrinking numbers of hunters. Fewer and fewer people pushing deer around during daylight hours. And yet there are just enough to keep the deer reminded that a deer season is in progress so that they stay in their survival mode. The other thing to remember is that all deer hunting is local. I have heard differing opinions between hunters that are on next-door properties. We can't be everywhere at once, so the guy on the other side of town has as valid and opinion and observations as anyone else. And they may both be right.
