That is not true. It is not the same as being on your yard. If there are no posted signs you can not be charged. If there are posted signs and there is no name or address you can not be charged. If the posted signs are not put up correctly ( a certain amount of feet next to each other) you can not be charged.............

Great deer guy and yea you could shoot more than 1 deer with bow on long island or westchester. I shot 2 bucks and a doe the other day in westchester county and it was perfectly legal........

Calling the DEC on your family is ridiculous. Do what I did. Get your own spots and set your rules. Told my father, no more shooting young bucks we are letting them walk and after he shot a year and a half 4 pointer with a 16 inch spread I kicked him out.....................

Agreed, I once had exclusive rights just by saying I would knock some money off the landowners bill. Well over the years they have had alot of contractors knock money off there bill for hunting rights. Very disappointing.......

Thats not true at all. If you catch a trespasser and you have been giving rights by the landowner to kick them out and the property is properly posted what happens is you actually tell the cops that you are making a citizens arrest and they could arrest you for trespassing. Belive it or not there is such thing as " citizens arrest" and it is not just in the movies..........

Calling the DEC is the worse thing you could do. If they want to stake it out and catch the person doing that could screw you up for weeks, then you can not hunt there. Take the stand and leave a note, You will never see them again............

absolutely. 25 ft is pretty high. I know I shoot almost 4 inches high at 20 yds......... Like mentioned above, you have to sight your bow in from your treestand elevation.......

Is it me or is it almost always a north wind? Waited almost 2 weeks last year for a south wind to hunt a stand.........

I argued so hard against the youth season last year but to be honest with you there was barely a kid in the woods and no gunshots where I am so I really do not think it disturbs the deer to much.....
