No there really not for basically the same fine for a trespasser. Now shooting one over bait is a different story but thats really not all that easy to catch somebody doing it and doing a stakeout and spending many man hrs to catch someone for a 500 dollar fine also is ridiculous.

The baiting does not really bother me. Every state i hunt in allows baiting except ny. I do have a buddy that owns land in pulaski and he has a couple of natives watch the property for him. They shoot atleast one deer a week all year long. Now that kind of stuff drives me crazy........

Agree, I have spots I will not even go to unless I have a good buck on camera. And I have 4 cameras now I watch right from my computer. There is nothing like checking your cameras and seeing a big buck live from your computer. Makes it real easy to get up in the morning.

three bucks on my camera today had full velvet. I personally do not remember seeing them this late with velvet.

Ok I hear you. Never forget I went with a guy years ago with the old baker treestands when you hug the trees with your bare chest and arms. We set up about 150 yds apart on opening archery and I listen to him struggle to get up about 8 ft only to slide back down to the bottom.This went on for about 1hr until I climbed down went over and coached him. Never saw a deer that morning........

Money is the only thing that worked for me. You could exchange for something like helping with there chores, cleaning the gutters and kiss there ass all you want the ole stupid " I willgive you venison" but that is not gonna stop them from letting 10 other guys in there too. You tell them I will give you a certain price depending on how good the spot is but I am the only one allowed in here. No beating around the bush, that seems to work the best for me.

Not all countys have the Gis online but years ago I use to go to the town clerks office with addresses and they would show me the maps and all the landowners.

A few years back I did not have a single buck on camera on a 2000 acre property until Nov 2. I shot 2 120 class 8s that year and sough some bigger ones, so I do not panic anymore when I am only getting pictures of does like I am right now..............

I probably see more younger bucks during the 1st 8 days of nov but the bigger ones from the 11th till like the 16th.....

It could be different where you are but in south NY I would always lean 11th to 15th. But if it is warm on those days you could get screwed.......
