No noise should be present on draw. Let the pro shop fix it or replace it. If they take off the string, make sure everything is good before you leave. Shoot the bow a few times making sure the knock and arrow rest are set properly and peep is aligned.

Lets do it again!!! I missed out on the first one! -
I was just watching the Hatfields vs the McCoys. So I would say tread lightly LOL. Try to be a good neighbor as much as possible. Sometimes even if it is not returned, you might be better off in the long run. Good luck!!!

Doe vs Buck survival that is an interesting topic Culvercreek hunt club. Bucks I would think have a harder time keeping on the pounds depending on how much that deer is active during the rut. Very active deer might not survive the last part of the harshest winters. Ice is a big factor in predation on deer IMO. Hard to run away on ice and with no antlers all deer are targets. Deep snow has the same effect latter on in the winter as coyotes are healthy and deer reserves down. Ever see the coyotes trap a deer on a frozen lake? I need to go yote hunting! Hats off to you Bubba for braking up the ice!!! Hoping Mother Nature is not too cruel this year on the deer. Only the strong survive was never so true when referring to deer survival and Mother Nature.

It apparently bothers them enough to get to 30 something pages of conflict.

Dam I missed this, arg! O well back to fixing the garage door... -
I salute you for answering the comments on this forum Maryland Hunter. I see nothing wrong with the shooting you did. I question your motives for posting so many videos and willingness to start controversy. I understand you probably do not really care what is said here by the way you present yourself and will post many other video's. To that I say good luck. On a side note I will say this... As a hunter I try to present myself in a respectable manner that sheds good light on the hunting community at all times. This video is not exactly something I consider admirable... Shooting 4 deer in 9 sec with 5 shots, good shooting. Filming it and posting a doe crawling away and blatting before being taken out, not so good. Just a little hint, all the deer shows pan away after the shot, why do you think they do that? Because no one, not even hunters want to see that animal in agony even if its just a few seconds and especially if it makes any noise! If you want to gain more respect think twice about posting any deer crawling away and making noise after being shot. Not even hunters want to see an animal flailing. Otherwise I enjoyed reading all the comments LMAO GREAT POST This was better than me arguing with Doewhacker and his buddy about LI deer cull that never happened. Carry on!!!

[email protected] I get e-mails from them about labs all the time. I would recommend trying all the local rescue shelters and pounds before getting a puppy. They have so many I am sure you can find what you are looking for. Good luck.

Poor judgment that's for sure. The first thing I do when I hold a gun is open up the action. ANY gun. Simple safety rules would have prevented this, including NOT showing your gun in ANY public area. Who ever said you can't fix stupid was dead right on this one, just glade no one ended up dead.

I would feel like it was backwards and would not want to pull the trigger out of fear! Very nice, good luck with it Wooly!

The disgruntled hunter -Deer and Deer Hunter article

Funny to me because the graph they show indicates more movement after the full moon. I believe this study was done down south as this is typical of southern deer to follow the third full moon as Mr.Alsheimer has stated before. Funny how they show a graph that proves his theory yet they still dispute the facts they provided. I am not here to argue which is right or wrong... Personally I believe in it but I have seen the difference in LI vs ADK or southern zone ruts and know each has slight differences usually due to climate IMO. Regardless of what the moon is doing I want to be in the woods early November to as long as I can stay... LI I would say the last week of Oct and first of November. SZ Nov 1-18 , NZ Nov 5-27. Again I am not here to argue if moon phase is right or not, some believe but some do not. Something is needed to trigger the doe in heat and the only other photo triggering device besides photo period is moon light and I do believe it is a trigger for the rut, but climate is a much bigger factor in northern regions. EX: LI has mild winters due to water on all sides. This effect I believe causes deer on LI to have a slightly earlier rut than deer further inland that have harsher winters. Besides photo period I think climate is the next biggest factor with moon phase coming in third as the trigger for rut to start. Again I am not here to argue but I will go with Mr.Alsheimer's moon theory and climate for the area to determine rut period and when I would hunt. -
Very nice, congrats!!!

I pray for some warm weather!
