I have 2 new Bushnell’s 14 meg with a .2 trip speed if you look at my post June 3th cam pull you can see the video quality and they were 119 bucks at dicks I have not pulled the still yet. I won’t pull that till July.

Just wondering if anyone is fishing Sodus with the high water. I was thinking of fishing the small section between Leroy Island and the shore with a canoe. I think there is still is a no wake rule. If so there should be no water skiers and big bass boat blowing down that small cannel.

I keep my cams up all year on the same trees till September I may change their direction from time to time but I keep them on the same tree. Then in September I’ll start putting them scrapes in video mode.

I had an H&R 10ga single shot deer gun. The slugs weighed 1 ¾ oz. when you fired that thing it killed at one and maimed at the other. I killed a deer with it one time without even hitting it; the shock wave of the slug passing by turned the insides to Jell-O. (LOL)

Hey a few weeks ago I watched a B movie with giant killer rabbits. I can’t wait for the killer deer movie. Here’s the plot it’s opening day of the deer season. The deer because of climate change get a new virus that turns them in carnivorous beast, and start hunting the hunters and eating them.

Sikas are actually elk and not deer. I didn’t know there were any in NY. I know they are in Maryland and they can be hunted there.

The point of youth turkey season or any youth season is so some kids with little hunting knowledge can kill your turkey or your 20pt. buck before you can. Some of the most fun I have had hunting was taking my kid and their buddies on the youth hunts. Never laugh so hard as when I took my son and two of his buddies on the youth duck hunt. They had six mallards come in and they all missed. I laughed so hard I was sitting on the bow of the boat I fell over backwards into the boat. Those three kids shot over 100 shells and shot two ducks. One of the best time I had.

Like any other addiction there are guys that have lost everything and will do anything to get their fix. They have lost their way and have forgotten what hunting is all about and god help anyone or thing that gets in their way of get their next fix.

I hunted on some land where i could only shoot bucks and no does any kids can shoot does. Then the main property I hunt the guy that owns the land below me only shoots big buck and no does. I pass on small bucks but a fat doe will get waxed.

Another believer of the 1to1 buck to doe myth. An over abundant of males is detrimental to spices survival
