  1. Yep. Sewage in and sewage out. They can keep Bill and Hillary too.
  2. Oh yes, we upstate know it well. It's where the Hudson takes our PCB and sewage waste. Right next to Jersey.....
  3. Happy and Safe Holidays all !!!!
  4. I bought my wife a diamond two years ago !!! Bow that is for Valentines Day!! She"s a keeper !!!! Great bow for the price and we upgraded rests and sights this fall ...
  5. I would shop around as there are lots of shops out there. I find the service they provide along with knowledge out weighs a box store or used bow. I started out with a basic model and upgraded years later when I could all from a neighborhood shop. . He tuned or added gadgets for free whenever needed. As far as model as long as it's a named brand it becomes personal preference. Get what feels good to shoot. A lot like a refle or shotgun. Some bows have multiple adjustments and they can help.
  6. I like a pro shop and most wil not steer you wrong. My suggestion would be shoot some and find one that fits you and you feel comfortable with. Most pro shops have a range on site.
  7. I found that one of the problems, if not the major reason, my cold feet were perspiration that caused damp socks. After a very short time my feet were damp and when I stopped walking they grew cold in a short time span. I kept my boots, both rubber and breathable leather, and modified my sock arrangement. I wear next to my skin a light sock liner that resembles panty hose, and then my "smart wool" sock and allow for movement within the boot. This allows my feet to remain dry and comfortable all day long. I used to wear two pair of wool socks and cramp my feet. This way now I stay dry and warm all day long....
  8. Get ready for it................... this is about the stage we all get called xenophobic, half-assed, racist fools who consider themselves some sort of bigoted twisted American patriot. Oh wait we already did !! We are all paranoid and uneducated fools I guess. But who among us it really the paranoid one ? Paranoia is described as the following: a mental condition characterized by delusions of persecution, unwarranted jealousy, or exaggerated self-importance, typically elaborated into an organized system. It may be an aspect of chronic personality disorder, or drug abuse, or of a serious condition such as schizophrenia in which the person loses touch with reality. Often manifested in believing statements are referring directly to him/her, even when one's name isn't mentioned or an unrealistic and over dramatized fear of the impending Trump administration ,failure to accept that Clinton LOST and why she lost, a narrow view of the world only viewed through the editors of the NYT, and a loss of reality of one's true surroundings..........
  9. Good point, what this country needs is more democrats holding the hands of the dredges of society and subsidizing their existence. Hint, if you want to enter our country, support our God given values, enjoy the freedoms our forefathers seth force and people from our country have DIED for defending, then follow the legal process and become a LEGAL ALIEN and citizen of the USA. Pretty simple stuff... http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/12/18/obama-refused-deport-820000-illegal-aliens-guilty-crimes/
  10. Did this pole utilize the same mathematical formulas used in the pole that predicted a Clinton landslide victory ?
  11. First there is the realization that hunting season is actually over, then the general sadness creeps in, then a mild case of malaise and self pity, closely followed by a lingering sense of loss and depression...... Then hopefully ice season, working on my health this coming year or maybe a purchase of a gun; that always breaks the spell. Hope for a healthy and happy holiday !!!
  12. Common sense just ain't so common any more.
  13. Congrats and great way to end the season in style....
  14. I do ice fish but the winters have been bad for good safe consistent ice.... I miss just being at my camp in the fall.....
  15. I miss the fall and every part of it ! I get depressed at the end of hunting season every year......
  16. Looking at the possible purchase of the Lansky sharpening system for myself. Does anyone have any experience with either of their systems? I see that they have a stone only and diamond system that use rods and a base to keep the same sharpening angle; both are pretty reasonable at 30.00 if they work as advertised. Thanks in advance....
  17. This people fail to see the picture time and time again. They prefer to punish the masses and not the individuals responsible for gun violence. I want to see a day where we punish the individual and hold people personally responsible for their actions. Until we stop the notion that we may offend some individual that will not come about. We blame society for criminal behavior and coddle people from birth. Guess what American it isn't working the the system needs fixing. That is why Trump won the average person is sick and tired of the nonsense....
  18. Yea, I went from 10 below to 40 degrees and rain.....I wish if we were going to have winter that we just had snow and cold. This mixed stuff makes a mess of my driveway and gutters along my eves....YUCK !
  19. At camp my smoothie maker consists of a gallon ziplock bag, ice and the blunt end of a hatchet. No electric required.
  20. Great holiday gift that will be treasured for a lifetime; I am almost 60 and I still remember fondly those gun shaped boxes that were Remington green way back under the tree!! I still own and carry those guns to this day !! Enjoy the holiday !!!

I feel for the families left in the wake of this terrible event, this only serves to remind one that GUN SAFETY is paramount and when ALL gun safety rules are adhered to then this incidents will not happen....
  22. Unless, of course one doesn't mind occasionally looking down the barrel of a weapon, even if one is sure it's unloaded and definitely when a trigger lock is in place even while being held by a complete stranger. I guess then it's not all the reckless in your own world.....I am afraid the standard you speak of Culver isn't always the "average people" we want handling weapons. Follow the BASIC safety rules and "accidents" are avoided......there is NEVER an excuse for an accidental discharge happening and harming someone when the barrel is ALWAYS pointed in a safe direction.....so simple a rule my children all can follow it...
  23. I think some village is missing a member and they landed here: The village idiot in strict terms is a person locally known for ignorance or stupidity,[1] but is also a common term for a stereotypically silly or nonsensical person. The term is also used as a stereotype of the mentally disabled. ....
