If it was to be made 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after , there are those that would push the envelope and shoot before and after these times . Where does it end ? Why not just get night vision scopes !

I have my 777 in the basement with the cap on tight . I have the bottle inside of a larger plastic bottle with a tight lid . I also have 4 speed loaders that a capped tight . No problem so far . Knock on wood !

I have been lucky enough to not have a misfire . I use Triple Seven loose powder . I plan to go to a friend's house tomorrow and shoot the load out of my ML . In the past I have I had pushed the load out of the ML and tossed the powder and the Sabot .

One way to punish them would be to confine them and make them listen to Christmas music 24 / 7 from Thanksgiving to New Years ! That would cure them of their crimes !

Sat in the hub blind at my son's property in Honeoye Falls from 1:15 until 4:40 . Saw a black cat and that was it . It was pretty windy and often gusted quite hard . That's it until next October 1st .

My NEF 50 Cal Huntsman has the same type of rod that unscrew and extends . I took a fiberglass shaft. . Cut it to length and put a brass 38 special case on each end so I don't have to extend the rod .I do have to remember to dump it out of the barrel before shooting though. I couldn't get on all day Saturday . Spoiled my day . I think the North Koreans were messing with us !

Sat in a hub blind at my son's property in Honeoye Falls again today from 1:30 to 4:45 . No deer sightings . A few minutes past 3 I saw something go across the trail about 80 yards out . It was too big for a fox and had a long tail so it wasn't a deer . At 4:05 , it went back in the opposite direction . No idea what it was but my guess is that it was a coyote . My son gave me a heads up where he saw a crap load of deer so I checked it out on the way home . On Rt 64 in Mendon , there was at least 20 deer in a field and across the road was another 20 . They know they are safe in the dark . Then when I was driving on County Road 8 some dipwad was tailgating me . A doe ran across in front of me and I hit my brakes . The guy behind me hit his also and almost went off the road . He backed off a few car lengths . I have a lot to do in the next few days and probably won't get out again until Tuesday which is the Finale of the Southern Deer Season .

I don't care for the big cameras with the huge lens' . I have 3 Canon Power Shot SX 130 IS cameras . One in my backpack , one ine the car and one by my computer . I can zoom out to 40X with them which is all I need . 1st pic from the blind is normal setting . 2nd pic is over the top of the bipod about 45 yards away ( trail cam on a post ) with 40X zoom . 3rd pic is same as 1st and 4th pic is the tree in front with 40X zoom . I think the most I paid for any of the 3 cameras was $160 . They probably have made improvements with the cameras since I bought mine . They take an SD card and 2AA batteries . The cameras also have a movie feature .

Here we go again . I went to my son's property in Honeoye Falls and sat from 1:20 until 4:40 and never saw anything . Did I forget to mention that it was cold . The last half hour was the worst . My son runs his ATV on his property a lot so he had me wait until he drove out in case any deer were around I wouldn't get busted and give away the Hub Blind . I plan to go back again tomorrow . Being retired is pretty rough .

See if this one works . The other was PRIVATE and I had to delete it and start over .

As soon as I click on the link on my computer , it opens . I hope it works for you . The caller works quite well and it was inexpensive .

I had intended to hunt tomorrow afternoon with the muzzle loader but had second thoughts . At noon the forecast in Mendon is 20 degrees with a real feel of -2 degrees and winds at 24 mph coming from WNW .
