Around 1030 I got out of the blind , walked down the lane way through the squishy pond field and to the woods . Saw nothing . Came back to the blind , left my gear and walked to the creek to get the mud off of my boots On the way back to the blind I spotted a buck hauling butt across the field to the west of me that some guys lease. . I ranged a clump of bushes at 154 yards. 500 feet is 166 2/3 yards . That's not a lot of distance to be from a house or occupied dwelling . Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Heading for Geneseo in a few minutes . I don't want to get skunked this year . So far I have spent a lot of time and coming up with zilch . I doubt if many or anyone will be hunting nearby today so the deer might not move . Then again , they might feel safe and move around . Ya never know !

I get pics of deer on the trail cams early morning before light and in the PM after light . None of them are passing by the cameras during the daytime which to me means they aren't moving . Three guys lease the property west of where I hunt and I have yet to see one of them out there . An older guy hunts & owns the property east of the land I hunt and he sits in his heated "Condo" and has deer and turkeys in his field during the day light hours .

Have you ever tried C Cleaner ? It clears a lot of garbage out of the computer . It's free .

My feet are fairly warm while walking but when I sit , they get cold . My E-Machine crapped out on me a few years ago and I bought a Lenovo Desk Top to replace it . It has a 2TB hard drive and with all the stuff that I have on it , I have 784 GB Free out of 905 GB . I think it cost me $500 at the time .

I used a $25 off $100 purchase at F&S the other day . I had another one for DICKs and gave it to my wife as she had mentioned getting some good shoes for walking . She forgot it and left it home and I told her to put it in her car . Around 6:30 tonight she said that she forgot to stop at DICKs . The coupon was good from the 23 to the 27 ( today ) . I called the Webster store to verify that they would be open until 10 pm and we went in . The guy in the shoe department was very accommodating and after my wife looked at different styles and sizes decided she didn't need them right now . I said that the ones she likes would probably crap out and she would be going back in a month . On the way out I asked a woman if she would be spending at least $100 in the store and that if she did to use the $25 coupon and left .

My feet get cold quick even with Foot warmers or Toe warmers . Last season I made the mistake of putting on a pair of socks , then the toe warmers and then another pair of socks . Big mistake ! Burned the pads of my feet . Checked the directions and it said not to do that . I checked a bit too late . I had tried battery operated socks in the past --- no good . Maybe I need to get the big booties !

I shot a buck on Dec 9 , 2006 with my NEF Huntsman ML . When I went to field dress him I saw something weird . He had a broken arrow shaft below his eye . When I gave it a nudge I could see the other end move by his neck . Here are pics of the wounds . I also asked on a different site what the wire was on behind the broadhead on the shaft . I was told that it was for a String Tracker . Apparently that didn't work for the shooter !

No problem peeing from the ladder stand . Just make sure you don't pee on the ladder rungs ! In my blinds , I use a Gatorade bottle as I don't want to make any noise unzipping the door to the blind or making any unnecessary movement . At my elevated blind , I had a funnel attached to a hose that went to the ground and that worked out well .

It works here . Tear out that Sissy Carpet and try it again !
