My old Delta spindle sander finally gave up the ghost, so I up-graded to a Jet bench top model this time around. It is much taller than my old Delta, so I had to make a small bench to make it a more comfortable height. I also took the plunge on a new band saw as well. This one is a 14" floor model by Laguna. What a joy to use this incredible machine compared to my little 8" bench top model!!! Really getting back into the wood working no that I am retired!!!

My dad turned 92 last week, and my mom will be 90 come fall. God bless them...... Happy Father's day dad!!!

The weatherman always seems to get it wrong. My phone app. said sunny, for yesterday, which it was most of the day, then clouded up and started to rain about 6pm last night? Then today was suppose to pour and thunder out......sunny here? What gives with this forecasting!!!!

I would think so, but play it safe and have the traps tethered to something, so they don't drag it away!!!

Thought when I first seen this that it was a gimmick. But after using one for many seasons now, I can't go in the woods without it. Was curious if anyone else benefits by this accessory. Really helps holding up your gun while working calls, etc.

Well, this makes it #10 so far!!! These little bastards can breed!!! Since I put out the traps with good ol' peanut butter as bait, 10 chipmunks, 2 large mice, and believe it or not sadly, a Robin. Must of seen ants on the peanut butter and went to peck at them, and snap goes the spring!!

The only rimfire rifle I own is a .17 HMR, way to loud of a report in my cramped neighborhood. Bought a .22 pellet gun specifically for this problem (varmits), but the accuracy isn't nothing to brag about!!! Thinking of getting a .22 rimfire and low noise shells, or what ever they call them now?
