any pics of the decoys? I have a merganser decoy that my uncle made out of wood it's probably 40 years old, may not be worth a dime but the sentimental value is immeasurable. A fresh paint job is required every so often...

That looks amazing, you should be very proud of it !

I have several Moultries, A5 game spy and am pleased with the price (+/- $70, if you shop around) quality and longevity. I prefer to use video as opposed to still pics and have always been happy with the results

It's funny how some bucks are still carrying antlers(1/11, 1/24 and 1/26) and some are not....that's mother nature for ya -
Brant Fajitas, a little terryaki marinade grilled & sliced em up.Shredded cheese, olives, sour cream, guacamole, & franks red hot. Had to fight my daughter for the last one. Of course I let her have it....

Nice stuff, when I was in 6th grade, our school took us on a week long trip to "Ashokan" on the Ashokan Reservoir in Ulster County. We learned about the outdoors and had the opportunity to make things in the blacksmith shop. I still have the fireplace poker I made, in 1976. (Funny thing is I still act like I'm in 6th grade) Good luck w/ your hobby and keep posting your creative endevors -
Yesterday my brother and I went out for the last day of duck hunting, and once again he shoots a Brant w/ 2 bands, one on each leg. Congrats to my "baby" bro. He did the same thing 2 seasons ago. The bird he shot was banded in 2010 in a place called Coral Harbor, Nunavut Canada. (Approx 1500 miles from Long Island) pretty cool

Totally agree w/ ya Let em, I paid over $200 for doing 60 in a 45, and it was not even me, he got the wrong guy ( was in a group of cars) and no matter what I told him he did not care. Then to make matters worse I missed a "chip" shot at a beauty of an 8 pointer the next morning, needless to say that's a weekend I'd like to forget

Anyone notice the way she's carrying her gun in the pic? I dont think the muzzle is pointed directly at the guy, but it's a bit unsafe. JMO, not trying to open up a can of worms

Hoping all in the area are safe! Especially my brother firefighters. A similar situation happened a few years ago in Webster NY Firefighters from Leroy, NY were shot at while responding to a dwelling fire at 0530 hours this morning. No firefighters have been injured but one civilian one is dead and the scene may still be an active shooter situation-but some reports are that it is now over. Apparently the suspect set his own house on fire and then went to a neighbors house and shot a man, who was in bed. Follow www.WHEC.com and www.thebatavian.com for additional. Leroy NY is SW of Rochester.

I also put those on my lower back (near kidneys) and middle of my chest close to heart. keeping my neck warm is also helpful. I like the neck warmer with a seperate hat so just my ears are exposed

I want my son (17 years old) to go to Dicks after school and buy shotgun shells. Is there an age restriction on ammo purchases? I'm just not sure....thanks

I too, saw NOTHING. As others have said, little to no shots heard on Saturday in a usually active area, yesterday I counted < 10, but it was also very windy, so it may have been more that I just did not hear. A major disappointment, but I'll be back at it this weekend !

Someone broke the lock off my trail camera....

That sux, just cant have anything nice without some A-HOLE ruining it. I don't understand why a "fellow hunter" would do this. It makes you wonder what else they are capable of. -
Same for me. I put so much more time in the woods since I started bow hunting 3 years ago. I wish I would have started earlier in my life.

That effing sucks! I was laid off from Feb-July. The positive thing ( if any) was I saw the true meaning of friends and family. Although I was getting unemployment, the kindness of the human spirit I was shown was absolutely amazing. Groceries and meals mysteriously appeared at my door several times. Good luck on your search, I'm sure you are aware, but take advantage of any/all websites that are employment related( monster/linked-in/indeed/hot jobs, many many more...the unemployment office will provide you with everything you need

My youngest brother shot this 8 pointer yesterday around 9:20. Deer snuck in from behind his stand and he could not turn around until the deer was < 10 yards. Got a pass through shot and he went about 70 yards ( rage broadhead )
