I would have done the same thing it's the right thing to do. Good job. As hunters, most of us are also good human beings and are concerned about the outdoors, the animals and conservation, and this is a perfect example of all of those things wrapped into one. It needed to be done, and who knows how much more she would have went in this condition suffering.

Mucks for me I love them, great lite, and if it's not freezing cold they are fairly warm ( i suffer from cold feet even if it's > 40 degrees)

i got on at 19 southbound ( kingston ) around 12:30, did not see anything

Bummer, hope you feel better soon. I was walking my dog ( 60 lb Pit Bull) this morning and she went to chase a squirrel and I twisted my knee, first thought was noooooo, I wont be able to hunt if something bad happens, thank god it's fine

Nothing this morning, went back out at 4pm and had 14 doe and a large high antlered 5 pointer come in the field, could not get an ethical shot on him, he wants a buck so we'll get back at it in the am. Proud of his decision.

heading out soon, taking my friends son for the youth hunt. My friend has to work and he trusts me to be a mentor???? just Kidding I look forward to being out there with this young man, he'll have fun and so will I.

I think about him 24/7 and hope to introduce him one of my arrows. When I first saw a pic of him in August he still had velvet and i started to hyperventilate.
