  1. That's nice to look forward to. Good luck!
  2. Must be the deltoids don't get worked out during those exercises...huh. We work out at 11 am in Syracuse, come join us. We always need someone to keep time.
  3. I don't see why it wouldn't help. After all you are using your back and shoulder muscles to draw and hold your bow, unless I am mistaken. Why is it impossible? I am 30, work out 5-6 days a week for 15-25 minutes. We do super sets of 5-10 x 10 sets pull ups followed by push ups (3-4 times a week). Every Wednesday we do 100 pull ups and 200 push ups with about 10 second brakes between, takes about 25 minutes. Just because you can't do it, doesn't make it IMPOSSIBLE.

    Torque.

Torque. That's exactly what I do. I grip the bow normal during my draw cycle and then relax and gently open my hand. Worked so far.
  5. I do between 300-500 wide grip pull-ups and push-ups a week. Seems to help.
  6. Damn Sampotter! That is a whole lot of acreage. I have a hard time making hay on our 96 acres, couldn't imagine doing that. I know you're just chopping for silage now, but that must still take a few days. Awesome.
  7. Have you shot the bow? I wouldn't purchase any bow without shooting it first.
  8. A 1:1 mixture of acetone and transmission fluid. Put it in a HDPE or Nalgene squirt bottle and you'll never need anything else for cleaning metal, removing ceased bolts, and freeing up non moving parts. Just don't get it on or near any plastic or use it on painted items.
  9. Got both 7F's. Will get 2 more from my grandfather when he gets his.
  10. It has been strange. Last year we had the drought and this year there's too much rain. Most of my hay fields are rolling hills and even the tops are still a little soft. Frustrating to say the least.
  11. With this nice spell of weather forecasted I couldn't help but cut my 2 remaining fields (1st cutting). Cut the fields yesterday. It's been such a tough year to get the hay in with all the rain, but with this weather I am hoping to get it pretty much done for the year. Just one small field to second cut left and that's it. Cheers!
  12. I've had my true talker grunt tube for 14 years. Still working and about as simple as they get.
  13. I like the trophy ridge micro cypher that I bought over the winter. Super bright, not too complicated, and fair price ($100 I believe). Also have an all metal $60-$70 Tru Glo on my other bow that is pretty decent.
  14. About 4 bales of hay would work. Just stack them 2x2 behind the target.
  15. I wasn't sure if the one was a duplicate or not. I'm not including the ~2.5 yo odd rack buck either. Needless to say, he has a fine selection as of now.
  16. Those are some nice looking bucks! Looks like 1 solid P&Y deer and another that is close. That odd rack buck will be a stud if he can make it another year...or two. Good luck!
  17. This is why I only shoot 1 arrow into my 3-D target. Usually start my practice session out with a 30 yard shot at the 3-D target. Then I shoot the rest of the time at the bags. I just picked up the boss buck (I believe) for $60 at Bass Pro. Was in their flyer. Should work fine and last me forever.
  18. I loved my Hoyt's when I had them. Much like Phade I switched when they came out with the alpha max line. Shoot Diamonds now but would switch for the right feel. You will enjoy it.
  19. Looks like a nice mature buck. Hopefully he messes up during the rut and you get a crack at him, good luck.
  20. Bruiser of a buck. Any idea how old he is, 3 or 4?
