    I would love to see a pic of the feet. I took two jakes years ago and they were very small birds. Both had beards and the only thing on their feet was a little nub. no spurs. When you gutted that bird was there any indication of any eggs in it?

    Yup. I know who they are. Doesn't change the fact that turnout won't be what it could be since it is mid week it is difficult on working folks to attend.

    Yeah, I'm a fair weather turkey hunter. I actually enjoy the second half of the season better than the first. Just seems as though I have had more luck in that time.
