I was young and dumb at one time. Had a gun rack in the back window of my Ford F150. Now this goes back 35 years. I'm headed up to our camp in Roscoe with my girlfriend. I have two shotguns in the rack on the Long Island Expressway. You can see the guns clear as day. I'm about to get to the NYC limits and a guy is flashing his lights at me. He pulls up along the side and yells to us I'm a off duty cop and they aint going to take to kindly going through the city with those guns in the window. I thanked him pulled over and put them behind the seat. Never did that again! lol

My Mom came home today, what a blessing!

It's just a train wreck if you ask me. I would like to hear the other side of the story. Dog doesn't deserve to be shot but the owners need to be fined. It would be nice to hear the other side but it wasn't reported.

I'm headed to camp also this weekend. Mac will be with me and my daughter. His resting place for sure. Along with us will be Oakley my new pup. He doesn't take Mac's place but just adds to the wonderful feeling of having a canine as your best friend! Good luck this weekend it was tough for me back at camp for the first time without Mac. My mom will be released next Tuesday. Without the help of the assisted living home, Stonybrook hospital and Gurwin rehab she would not of made it. She also is very strong and wasn't willing to give up! Its been over 50 days without seeing her.

Sorry for your loss. I lost mine in December 2019. 14 years, it only took me a month or so to know I needed a new dog in the house. It was a blessing. You will get there at one point.

I been a Dolphin fan since 1970. I was driving this morning and heard this. At first I thought Larry Zonka but it was Don. Maybe the best coach ever........It hurt hearing he died but he lived to 90. God bless! A treat at my 50th birthday Danny boy showed up!!!

Good luck. My mom has it also. Haven't seen her in 45 days. She is recovering. The hardest part is not seeing them. We got an ipad to her to face time. Praying for her recovery.

I got a call back and confirmed everything. They told me to fill out the PAU forms and not wait to see if I was denied regular unemployment. My claim was moved to pending status. There is a great group on facebook called NYS unemployment issues really helped out with questions I had.

Doctors are not sure if lungs weren't damaged. She still oxygen now and then. Time will tell. Thank you

Some good news my mother who had the virus was moved out of the hospital today to rehab. 35 days at 87 years old not seeing one family member and she almost died one night. This virus is horrible. Friends just keep at what your doing so you don't infect anyone especially the elderly. Thank you all for your prayers!! You guys are the best!!!! Just an FYI she got great care at assisted living and Stony Brook Hospital. She never had to go on a ventilator. She took Z-Pak and the Malaria drug. The Malaria drug was stopped because it was causing heart issues. Also the doctors were not confident that it works. We got her an Ipad so we could facetime. It was heartbreaking at times.
