  1. I'm keeping my internet service but might get rid of cable for the TV. I'll buy a digital antenna and get the local stations. What else is there out there that I can use to download movies and such when my girls come over. I'm not a big TV fan and its basically a waste of money. I know about Netflicks and Hulu but just don't know how it works? Thanks FL
  2. Good luck charms from my girls. They don't care about horns, just the meat! Some type of paper towel or baby wipes for post gutting process. Hand warmers just in case it gets real cold.
  3. Basic firearms rules and I only ask to try to better yourself on the next buck you take. If you come to my camp and never shot a deer you can shoot anything. We drive 6 hours to get to camp and hunting time is limited. I take this into consideration also.
  4. You can have a bow with you as a mentor.
  5. Parents will hit 65 years in April.
  6. Shot a big 9pt years ago. This was the same deer my friend shot at 2 weeks earlier. His shot hit low, back in the stomach area. When the deer was hanging he looked at the hide and we saw his arrow hole going through both sides of the deer. His arrow had light pink blood on it and greased up like you said. Again there was blood initially but stopped after a while. When I shot the deer he was chasing a doe and feeling just fine. Good luck!
  7. "This is how we roll" get 'em tomorrow!
  8. That is a tough, may the future have something special in it for you. I am currently purchasing the hunting camp adjacent to my property. Health reasons have them selling it. I am taking baby steps with them because I know it is so hard. Even offered them the place to use after we close. Good luck this season.
  9. Eventually with this happening often more gun control laws will be passed. It's a slow progression but will get there.
  10. Back in the day I missed a lot of deer with open sights. I have a scoped 1187 for 30 years now and it has been very good to me. Will only use open sights when driving through thick stuff.
  11. I actually paid a couple of hundred bucks higher. It does have a single wide on it, usable but not in great shape. I'll tell the story once we close.
  12. Been doing it for 7 years. Have the 5 year patch. I enjoy keeping the records.
  13. I'm cutting the corn tonight while you are on the thruway. lol Looks great enjoy the peace that surounds you.
  14. I would say so. Very well hung may I add…….meaning the trail camera! lol
  15. Absolutely nothing……..had cams out all summer if that counts.
  16. I have a large parcel that I hunt. We have taken many deer on it. All the other parcels around me are big, + 100 acres . There is a small 10 acre plot that borders me to the west. This small plot is a magnet to hold a few shooter bucks during the season. Thick with brush and pines, the does love to bed in it. If you were lucky to own this plot i would say10 acres is the magic number, All depends on the situation you hunt..
