  1. I have killed some nice deer this weekend. Mother nature has something else on her mind with the weather today and tomorrow morning. Good luck
  2. Interesting post for sure. I live on LI and yes there are deer in PJ. Well if you not against hunting call the DEC and let them handle it in the correct manner. As for the deer surviving who knows, it sure didn't hit any vitals. Interesting you came here in the first place. Call the DEC if this thread is really true and get it done. Honestly I hope the animal has died from its injury and is off in the woods some place.
  3. I almost bought one this week. If I did it would be the lady kind and I'd shower her with the most expensive perfume on the market!
  4. Got it! BTW this might not be happening until Sunday. I am leaving for camp tomorrow and will be home Sunday afternoon. Just didn't want you to think I didn't report back.
  5. Hunter, I won't forget that thanks. Hey this is 1 zone heat but it does have two of these valves. Do 1 at a time, correct?
  6. That is wonderful, a fine tribute to his brother.
  7. Awesome, this sounds exactly right. Kind of what I was thinking but just didn't know what the nut above the hose connection did. Thanks again Hunter I will give it a try tonight!
  8. I tried venting from the baseboard some worked some didn't. I wanted to bleed from those valves but wasn't sure how they worked. I think tonight I'll mess around and see what each thing there does (nut and screw). Thanks guys.
  9. That is going to make one giant mess don't ya think. I just got that puppy back together!
  10. My heating system has this type of valve on the return. I need to bleed the system for an air lock (changed a gasket on circ pump) The valve has a hose hookup and a nut above it. On the back is a turn screw that only move a half turn. How does this actually work. I imagine one closes the valve and the other opens or do I just turn the screw?????
  11. Go under tools/pages/rotate 90 counterclockwise. Then do a save as, worked for me using Acrobat
  12. Teebug, You know if your kid gets hurt driving those vehicles or hurts someone else you are totally liable. Even if it's on your own property. Just looking out for you.
  13. 12 year old bowhunter is just fine with me, no younger.

    8p?

TeeBugg We hunted last two weekend and it seems the bucks were responding to calls. We saw no actual chasing going on.
  18. Funny how years ago we all road 4 wheelers close to our stands. Now much older we all walk. I guess we are getting smarter although I killed the biggest deer of my life standing next to my Quad on opening day. Coming out of the woods and there he was 10 feet from the quad tending 2 does, go figure.
  19. Just looking at Facebook page for LI deer hunting. Seems like a lot of big bucks were taken this week. Congrats to all!
  20. Doing the same thing. My only days off so I'll be out there. It is going to be 60 on Friday, a bit warm but whatever I'm hunting. You just have to be alert at all times. Buck could slip right through undetected with the wind howling, no cat naps!!! lol
  21. Horrible feeling when you make a good shot and are tracking the deer only to have the blood stop. Hope he finds it.
