Later in the day has been key for me both deer I took this year were right after 4pm.

Hereeeee we go again. Another shoot em if he doesn't have orange on thread lol. You shouldn't HAVE to do anything. People shouldn't be shooting at what they can't ID. Period. Remember the good ol saying guns dont kill people, people kill people. O I forgot its a phrase only used when it suits your needs. Their are kids that might not brake every bush line you cant even see em. Maybe someone has dogs their using to hunt and you cant see the orange. O you ever think of this maybe someone other than a hunter is trying to enjoy the woods and take a stroll or bike ride do they need 5 layers of orange ???? They have nothing to do with hunters but have to worry cause people are slinging rounds like a moron. But yea.. Lets here the excues roll in !!!!

That much I agree with. Im still big on playing the wind but want to stay as scent free as possible. As far as getting some food in you before hunting it's something I do without a problem.

U shot the deer you didn't run it over. Saying your beating yourself up for that makes no sense when you could have gave him a pass. On another note I most likey wouldn't have shot him on my land but I dont knock you for doing so

If you havn't got gas all over yourself you will be fine. I have heard a guy say he doesn't eat breakfast because he doesnt want to smell like eggs in the woods. I couldn't even comment on it I would have started laughing to hard.

Can't cut it any cleaner than that.

Later into the day till sundown has always been my go to time. But on the flip side I have no work tomorrow so i'm going in the woods early am.

I do like Hoyt. I am going to be shooting a bunch of bows over the off season. I am looking to get a new set up from bow to arrow, sight, rest. The only thing im sticking to is Rage 2 blades and my release. I looking for the speed I need to be able to take a accurate shot at 40-50 yards and maintain the speed and power needed for a pass threw. Im open for any opinions on arrows as well I have always shot the cheap ones from wal-mart. They did do the job but im looking to upgrade big time before next season.

I have a Bowtech now it was my frist bow and I have had it for 6 years. Still have the same string it came with. Shoots great always accurate and I like their cam set ups. I noted some of the smaller shops don't really like the bowtech brand in general because their sold at stores like gander mountain. The guy at a bow shop near me said I had a bent limb he said bows sold in " shopping centers " are junk. When I called bowtech they were going to fix it for free but I never had a bent limb.

Has anyone shot or hunt with a Bowtech Insanity cpx or cpxl ? I'm going to be buying a new bow I like Bowtech bows so thats the brand im going with I want to pull 70lbs and my draw is 27 inches. I have been looking at a lot of newer or semi-newer models and the Insanity is the one I keep coming back to. Anyone have experience with this bow or have a Bowtech they really like. I want this bow to be something that last me maybe the rest of my life so ill spend pretty much whatever it takes. And i'm not rich ill have to save and put it on layaway so I want to make the right choice. Thanks.

Post rut I tend to hunt the paths they take to get to the food plot. Deer have to eat as much as they can before winter like any other animal and the green stuff they eat is harder and harder to find so they have to move more. And when bucks rut they worry more about doe then food sometimes so now is the time their trying to make up for it. Good luck.

Mine has more of a cone shape to it and it never holds snow. Can't go wrong.

Maybe cause he wanted to lol. Maybe he felt like every peice of his hunting set up played a role in his hunt and he wanted to show it. No biggie.

I can't stand being around all them people. Pending on were you go and what your shopping for its madness. I like some of the online shopping deals but I always end up buying some camo or maybe a treestand theres always sales I love when hunting seasons over.

Your more less staking your life to denfend your life. A lot of them store owners have their life savings invested and are up to their neck with bills due and now have no way to make ends. And just my thoughts but any time or date they put the news out would have been ripped to shreds by people looking to make chaos regardless. People screaming " Burn this b!t. down ".

Looks to me they are looting anything and everything. Even a verizon store. Chargers and locked phones ??? Sad place.
