  1. These are a steal while they last. I have one and love it. About 1/2 price. Lifetime warranty.
  2. The urine is not something to be avoided. Easy to go home clean when you don’t kill anything! Plus it’s great cover scent.
  3. Need to ask assessors office of impact on taxes by seasonal cabin vs temporary trailer. Typically trailer has no impact if not permanent.
  4. Lol - it’s my wife they should fear!
  5. I have to guess that that buck does not chase the ladies much during the rut and doesn’t move much in daylight during gun. Hope you get a crack at him.
  6. Man that buck has some good instincts.
  7. I had a bullmastiff that looked like Apollo a lot. She was a big girl at180lbs but a sweet dog too. Lots of beautiful dogs here. This is our Kiki.
  8. That’s awful nice of you Jay. But I won’t be there. You could give to Drew but he may just pocket it if you know what I mean.
  9. Not disagreeing with you. I won't comment on the statistics because its only smart to use a harness.
  10. Definitely hugged the tree while trying to work hands around it while hanging. Will neither admit nor deny whether I use a harness (but don't hunt many hang ons either). I should use one and have to start so that my daughter learns good safety practices. I will admit that I hate being tethered to a tree when trying to move around for a shot, especially with the longer trad bows. Probably have a false sense of security in the shorter ladders I use.
  11. I can assure you it can be done. lol I ain't a monkey so …… But I really don't ever use them Hung it a couple of times. This year, culver hung it when we wanted a new location set quick and he used a linesman belt.
  12. You tie a rope to each stick and work up or climb down to grab the next stick?
  13. I might even own one if I can remember where I put it. lol Still easier to toss up a ladder though.
  14. You no good ….. and you charge we twice as much for twice the wait
  15. I have not really used a linesman belt. That could make a big difference in ease of hanging.
  16. Enjoy your day. Maybe change it up with a bottle of Chianti (sp?).
  17. By the way, always wanting to learn, love to hear some of your favorite calling sequences and when you use them. Sounds like you have lots of experience. Thx
  18. Pretty simple. As we were walking in, he saw eyes with his red headlamp. Knew it was a fox and it wasn’t far. This was after we scanned with thermal but it was other side of brush island. He wanted me to shoot but I had closed tripod in hand, gun slung over shoulder, thermal scanning hanging on neck and caller bag over it all. I told him to shoot since I had to unload it all to shoot but he wanted me to shoot and waited until I did. Not sure why you are getting defensive. One thing I learned was that I should load up so that I can still get gun up without dropping everything and that even with thermal, a red headlamp isn’t a bad idea. Can’t exactly walk in while looking through monocular the entire time.
  19. If I am hunting with with a compound, I only use rage. Never not had one open properly.
