$20-50/acre for a lease up this way depending on location and quality.

Not me. I live and work in the Penfield area. Just hunt out that way WNYBH. I did haul a 25' stand to the property on Sat. Does that count as "using" my truck? Of course, it was ratcheted down with blankets so no scratching. lol
-
All real Italians keep a good supply of such bags. You never know when they are needed and yes, I keep my truck pristine. If it was a Dodge, it would be treated accordingly - kinda like I treat Phade's PU.
-
Invite the person over and watch it together - good bonding time. lol
-
No tats here, but that one is seriously cool.
-
Phade just gave you the best option. Dirty someone else's vehicle. Obviously a small car is less convenient, but not a deal breaker. Work with what you have and call Phade to haul the deer home. Seriously, I used a body bag in my wife's SUV the first year I hunted. That will work in a trunk too.

Browning BAR .308 Accuracy issues
moog5050 replied to ApexerER's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I agree. It sounds like they acknowledge you got a lemon. I would push for a new gun. I do recall hearing that browning consistently produces short. Biekirchs didn't want to order me a BAR for that very reason. -
Can't speak for the poster, but often 3D set ups are lighter arrow with greater speed (ie forgiveness in distance errors) and perhaps lighter poundage.

Under the act, to be a "seller of ammunition" subject to the act, you have to be in the business of selling ammunition. Thus, generally private sellers do not fall into that category. I suppose one could argue that they are if they regularly sell ammunition.

I knew you were withholding info - oh its on now! -
Welcome Savage. Great bow you purchased.
-
Just bought one at the show and PA - seems like a good product. No real testing yet, but I can't imagine it won't work well. Blades are reasonably cheap too. Great for someone who doesn't like to sharpen.

Warm camo coat or jacket
moog5050 replied to Pygmy's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
I use the minus 33 and prefer it over the UA 4 base layer too. Warmer and more comfortable. Also stays warm if you sweat a bit and then sit, unlike the UA. -
Looks awesome.

Warm camo coat or jacket
moog5050 replied to Pygmy's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
I bought the scent blocker outfitter jacket on sale last year. It is great for late season and has a removeable sherpa vest. Very warm. Not bulky and can be used for gun or bow. -
See - its working already Doewhacker.
-
The tightspot is a breeze to remove (flick of a lever and it slides right off). Great mounting system, but kinda defeats the whole reason you spend $140 on a quiver if you remove it. AF - the premium treelimb do just twist off.

The curving arrows are a draw length issue my friend, but how to measure. HMMMM Well, let me explain .... You WILL NOT suck me into that again. I lost almost 2 days of my life already. LOL As an aside, I would like to challenge you ... the self proclaimed KING of whacking does to a challenge .... biggest doe (by weight) this year wins something. What say you? We have a few swamp donkeys around that I have refrained from shooting because of the drag out in the muck - make it worth my while. Added bonus, you will tick of phade when I have to track and drag out a doe in the areas we are targeting a nice shooter buck.
-
I assume you must put the broadhead at the nock end too. Shoots kinda like a throwing knife. You are an innovator Doewhacker. Special set up just for those trophy doe. lol
-
You need to work on those skills for sure phade. No more excuses about how your back hurts - you drag all of the deer this next season - it will toughen you up. I still laugh about how bummed you were when you shot that doe and thought it was my injured deer. "Aw man, now I have to process it." lol Good shot though!
