two questions that i need help with.
Guns&ReligionCop replied to sidewinder's topic in General Hunting
You can use slugs or any size shot because people like using buck shot on coyotes. You can use rimfire, centerfire, muzzleloader, bow, or shotgun with slugs or with shot -
Not just wind to worry about a lot of people get killed every year by trees weighted down by snow and ice. Notice I said people because it is a presents a threat to everyone not just hunters

Hunter/Game Warden relationships

I often find them waiting in the parking lot at sunday waiting to hear shots. I have had nothing but good experience with them but then again I'm always legal and polite -
Dear ground hunters, beware that falling trees are a danger to you as well. Everyone ground or tree becareful when its windy and pay special attentiopn to widow makers!!

I rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6! Smith&Wesson 9mm don't leave home without it. Sometimes in the field I carry a Smith 38 with a 4" barrel instead of the 9. It's amazing when you see people say to carry an extra knife, flashlight etc but would hesitate to carry a sidearm. Unlike the west we really don't have the to worry so much about bears and mt lions but there are still animals with rabies or could be wound, protecting the young etc...and the most deadly creature in the woods, The 2 legged kind!!!

Lots of small game hunting, squirrels and pheasant in NY, rabbit and grouse in PA

ESPN Sportscenter said that the Bears defense was horrible last week but I thought they meant the football team

Well I'll guess I'll be the first to ask, What are you selling? I don't plan on quiting anytime soon. I'm just on a count down until my son is old enough to get involved. I'm also coaching my wife even though she's not quite ready yet. Also I have a lot of friends that are taking an interest in it now they are getting older. -
Feeding deer legal again
Guns&ReligionCop replied to Dinsdale's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
My opinion, This guy was clearly baiting but and had a good story worked up and was one of the few that was able to lawyer up and skate the law. The conservation officer should have waited to catch him in the stand because there would be tremendously less to debate. Obviously who ever called was aware of the fact that he was doing more than feeding the squirrels -
scoped guns and tree stands

Then where do you put your beer while your cozy is on the bow sight? -
If you check the rubs you can tell if they are fresh if the spot where the bark is rubbed off hasn't oxidized yet. If you go back tommorow and their a little more brown and not as bright white they were fresh. If its still alive in and the area the buck would have made more that you will be able to tell thye are fresh compared to the ones that you have seen already as a litmus test

Weird but cool looking 5pt.
Guns&ReligionCop replied to HuntOrBeHunted's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
I'm assuming that it has a bum leg or had one over the summer. That's what biologist say casue stuff like that. Nice looking deer though -
Bubba our brains differ in the fact the one side controls one entire side where a deers brain controls one side of the back and opposite on the front

I think its more prevelant in hunting camps were groups of guys hunt together. Me driving the woods by myelf doesn't seem like such a good idea

You kil them and you have money do whatever you want. I know a guy that has mounted everything he ever got with a bow. Has a huge man cave and looks pretty cool but cost a lot of money. With your last few posts of hunting trips it does seem like you get a lot mounted that coupled with the pics of your dads trophy room
