What decoy should I go with this weekend...buck or doe?

I take it off so I am less visible to deer but it still can be seen by other hunters the way I put it. I also use it to help stabilize my gun when im in my stand. Last season I only took it off one day and the other day I kept it on for some reason.

I hate gambling with all of my heart and wish that no one ever gambled again and I wouldn't mind seeing all of the casinos gone. With all of that I still wouldn't want some one being forced not to gamble. I think its the right of the person to make the decision him self. -
I will wear a blaze vest while walking to stand but I usually take it off once i'm in the stand although sometimes i just keep it on. I am starting to see more hunters and twice I have mistaken hunters for deer. Once was my dad ( he decided to wear a brown jacket) and the other was just as it was too dark to see well which turned out to be the land owner. I would rather be busted by a deer then put me or any one else in danger.

I know I wouldn't. That's my father and I would never call the cops on him or anything like that. To be honest if he shot the 12 point I would be happy for him because its my father and I would be happy he shot big deer. Being very close to my parents does effects my decision too. I will always have more time to shoot a big deer as well. I might catch heat for saying this but i'm sure there are many other people here that wouldn't turn their father in.

I haven't seen a single scrape or rub yet. I haven't been out since last Sunday so i'm hoping to find a few next weekend.

This is why i take field points with me. Looks like ill be the first to say kuddos for respecting the landowners wishes.

The squirrels and birds go crazy trying to get to mine down here and i have hard that the deer will eat figs so you might as well try it.

I grow them down here in the city and they grow like 2-4 ft a year at least. They grow much better here then back in Europe. I have seen a few in ulster county though so they might be able to take the cold especially if you cover them in the winter. You might want to get one of the more cold hardy figs as well.

I have always heard down hill but i also hear that they will run up hill sometimes. When an animal is wounded they don't always follow the norm.

When it comes to this situation i would shoot the one with the bigger rack. I really only eat fawns and yearlings so a bigger body doesn't matter when I give away most of my buck meat.

No one will know if a "big buck" will come in but you will get different bucks going to that scrape if you put a cam over it.

I shot 4 deer and found 3 with my bow.
