  1. I did that last semester and I just did a presentation this semester about it. Teacher was against assault weapons so i had fun tearing down her arguments piece by piece. Funny part is her brother has a gun collection like no other in Arkansas. I had people coming up to me after telling me I did a great job representing gun owners. There is a Harvard study proving gun control does not work so be sure to use that because every one trusts Harvard. Got a 30/30 on the presentation so I was pretty happy.
  2. Never seen one in 3J but then again i have only been hunting there for 5 years.
  3. I thought about it when I got it and I kicked my self that I didn't join but looks like I got lucky.
  4. I would think a 1 bird limit in the spring and fall would be a greater benefit.
  5. We can't even pass a simple bill to improve the native wildlife of NY. I do wish they would have sent out letters or emails to those with hunting licenses and were unaware of this.
  6. Its not hard to take apart with the tool that comes with the gun. I have done it but I have no clue how to clean it.
  7. As much property as possible in Iowa with a small river going through and a mix of woods and ag lands. More realistically any thing above 30 acres with a river next to or creek running through in NY. Some hills would be nice too.
  8. There is a tool that comes along with the rifle that allows you to change out the bolt handle. Look up the manual online and it should say it.
  9. I aim for the shoulder blade. If I miss I hit the lungs or spine and if I don't, the deer goes down on the spot.
  10. Have any of you used this product before? If so how did it do?
  11. its weird that I wont get the "special license" because I already had my lifetime license.
  12. Big as can be but worth every penny. I dropped it from my tree stand 20' up and when i picked it up, it was like it fell on my couch. I would recommend you get it.
  13. Big fan of Steven Rinella here. He usually knows what hes talking about.
  14. If you actually knew how messed up some of the teachers are, you would never want your kids in the same building. I had a teacher me and my friends were close to and he would tell us how messed up some of these people were.
  15. I might not have been raised in that time frame but my child hood was very similar to that (with the exception of lead based pain cribs and no child proof lids). It really makes me happy to know I at least got some of the good days. I actually miss drinking out of the hose on a hot summer day while playing some sport.
  16. I might check it out today later in the day.
  17. you guys are stronger then I. I could never put a blade to that region.
  18. I never had the know it all attitude when I was younger. Don't get me wrong, there were some things that i thought I was an expert in but my father was always there to teach me a lesson. My parents taught me something new about every day so maybe that showed me that i didn't know as much as one of my parents. But my brother..was a completely different story. He was the classical teenager. Unfortunately he hasn't realized that hes not a teenager anymore .
  19. I hope its not going to be too bad but im sure we are going to lose quite a few more then normal. I just hope that the tick population takes a serious blow as well... hate those guys.
  20. This sucks for you guys! I bought a lifetime in 09 so i don't have to deal with all this crap.
  21. I wish i hunt coyote. I have never seen one so this would be a hard contest for me lol.
  22. My advise is to spend the money and pay for some lessons. I haven't skied in a couple years but i always used to take a refresher course in the beginning even though i used to tear up those double diamonds. I have skied PA, VT and CA and i find that the northeast is a harder place to learn to skii. Take it easy when your there...your going for fun, not to kill your self. Your going to fall a lot so learn to laugh at it(because everyone else will). Good luck out there and be safe.
