  1. Never once said that if you read back. Seems as if you'd like to deflect the conversation to which person is smarter in science, which doesnt mean anything. Having an education in engeneering does not mean this guy understands climate, only that he should have the smarts to be able to research it and understand. Not sure what kind of education you have, but it doesnt sound like you have a science background either so you are basically talking out of your rear on this one. Of cource carbon capture is going to help things, but it wont be the end all be all. Again thats something that can be realized with a lot of research. The VAST MAJORITY of the science community knows climate change is real...but maybe 98% of the scientists don't actually "know science."
  2. Its actually not important in the way many think it is for many reasons. It definitely has been higher, but there are many reasons why its not and should not be as high as it is right now. Again its a red herring that only makes things worse
  3. You can say what you like about Kerry, it doesnt make what I said wrong. Nor does bringing up the guys 2 engeneering degrees, which infact only makes him sound extreemly dumb now. Someone with that level of education should not be asking a question so thoroughly answered. If he used his basic knowledge of phyisics, chemistry and some research on the subject he wouldnt be asking. Whats annoying are the people constantly denying research, because its discomforting to realize were messing up. Many of these people stand to loose a lot of money when we start talking about alternative ways of doing things.
  4. All I see is someone who is asking a question that has been asked numerious times and has been answered numerous times. Whether or not he chooses to accept the answer is his problem. Typical red herring question! John Kerry might not be the best person to answer such a question, but the guy with an engeneering degree isnt going to be the one to ask a question that can't be answered by a qualified person. Hell I only have a bachlors degree in Enviornmental Science and I can easily answer this question.
  5. My offer of bringing you to Suffolk Archers still stands. Like NFA said, we have shoots most sundays and a bunch of us usually get together to shoot saturdays as well. Other than that I don't know of anyother place other than smithpoint
  6. Im going to give it a shot this year as well, but in the catskills. Never even seen a bear in the woods, but I know some people who know them pretty well. Good luck this year!
  7. I like all the seasons, but its late winter I usually dont like. Not much going on around that time of year for me
  8. Risk is the spice of life lol But we don't live THAT dangerously!
  9. Looks like its going to be a party now!
  10. It would have to depend on when he's in the area I would think
  11. Up to you guys...im game for anything. It would be nice to explore the delaware for some wild fish. Ill send a pm to Tacks
  12. Good luck Chef! Can't wait to hear how you do! Im thinking of heading up the last two weekends of april
  13. Not a bad mount. Not something I would have done, but very unique.
  14. Absolutely! We'll see if we can get Tacks to come as well
  15. Looks good! Looking forward to seeing the preformance
  16. Nothing wrong with it. The way people see you shooting a jake is not like the way people see you shooting a young buck for some reason. Its not as big a deal for most people if they see you shot a jake. My first spring gobbler a few years ago was a nice big jake that tasted amazing. I try not to shoot jakes, but I guess ill never say never when it comes to turkey hunting.
  17. Oh well that would help things out a lot
  18. Ive got a truglo red-dot that came with the mossberg 535 I bought. I love it for the most part, but the only thing I dont like about reddots is that I have to turn them on. I feel like in a run and gun scenario, its going to come back to bite me eventually. If I were to buy one, I think Id buy a scope instead of a red dot.
  19. I might try going to the beaverkill in a couple weeks if things start warming up nicely. Striper season opens up on the 15th so Ill be going for them a lot too
