Define weapon , and” all the time .” Sleeping ? Some say your mind is the weapon , the rest just tools . When I first got my permit in the ‘80s I only carried when in certain areas and so forth . Then I realized you don’t just put up a smoke detector when you’re cooking , or put life jackets on your boat when it’s ruff seas .

So first time here ( Pittsburg ) we used the “ T” to get around , we get on / off at Station Square . We boarded for the game and this happened a couple minutes after we left . Interesting, took Uber back .....

Well Matt Carpenter has homered in both games ! Today we’re higher but in some special area with wider padded seats, mich better food and beer . Can watch from inside in leather chairs if weather is an issue .

Daughter in Buffalo needs to change her’s from Monroe County to Erie . Monroe she got it in three months , and we do full carry not restricted BS, I’ve heard that they just issue you what your county did though . Ive also read that if you just notify NYSP of address change you’re good to go , it is a state license after all .

Same here . Sold a bunch of guns there and for the same reasons . I did loose out pretty big on one knife they sold though . This auction with the number of guys bidding on new guns, I have to wonder how many “ deals” there will be .

Well Cards, won, seats we’re good,, but was it ever hot .Hung outside before as they had a band playing outside the park in the street drank some Iron City ( when in Rome ) . Tomorrow is a day game and 90 degrees , luckily our seats are in some area that has access to inside bars , which we can watch from to beat the heat . When we want to see the Yankees we go to Toronto, last time was ten years ago or so. $29 to sit a few rows back from their dugout , our kids got two Yankee autographs.

Hum I don’t know my day..... to.told them I could do wed or Thur . The sent me a parking pass but no, other info ...... ill text them again when I get back in town Monday I guess .

Thanks I’ll try . Wife’s best freinds cousin lives there and we meet up,with him, and another Roch FF texted me he’s going there as well . I told him where I’m staying ( station square, Sheraton) gives Gov discount , so he is booking there too . So it’s getting kind of crazy ..... well we’re staying in Station Square, it looks close ,perhaps Sunday breakfast.....

Tomorrow night and Sunday , in Pittsburg to see the Cards. Three rows back from Cards dugout .

My local grocery store Hegedeons has it, when ever it’s delivered in the area, and Wegmans gets it when it comes in as well . Last time I got it a Wegmans, but it was not out front but in the walk in cooler, a stack of it on the floor . It lasts in Hegedeons for several days or a week , but I’ve seen it sell,out in Wegmans faster . Honestly I prefer Three Heads Suspended Particle better , but I do grab some SOS, when I see it .

I got a chuckle out of some of the comments of the girl who’s head was stuck in the truck’s exhaust . I’ve got stuck people out of duct work, chairs, from under fences, tons of elevators , and an amazing number of folks get stuck between the toilet and the wall .... a dogs head in a floor drain , ducks in storm drains . Our rescue was dispatched to Fair Haven state park ( 50 miles from the city ) for a foot stuck in a shower floor drain .I’m sure I’m forgetting many . So I thought I’d post more girls stuck pics ( from the net ) for your enjoyment .

Just some random thoughts . I took the instructor class many years ago, and was somewhat shocked I had to find my own place to teach and so forth, never continued on with it . Hardest part for my daughter was finding three nights to give up 5:30 to 10:30 ( with driving time ) to busy with all the homework and sports . She never read the book, just sat through the class and said it was the easiest test she ever took...... Focus just on safety , gun safety , tree stand and be done with it. This shortens the class and they can concentrate on what I feel is the most important part. I’ve seen them go off on how to find land to hunt and so many non safety issues , including many , “ me and Joe “ stories . I still recall my bow course from ‘88 the instructors were two of the most insulting ,ignorant yahoos, I’ve ever come across . They would correctly explain the vitals and the angles and such, then showed a skull with a broad head in it . His son had a deer right under his stand, so that was the only shot he had ..... at least an online course the content would be correct , controlled and uniform .follow that up,with a few hours hands on if need be .

Sorry to drift , but metal detectors at most of those locations are security theater. Each year ( this week end ) I go to PNC park, and each year I get my pocket knife inside , (I never bring my gun to Penn) . It’s easy and I’ve done it two ways . Ive brought my gun inside two venues here , where they use hand wands, the first time I was caught by surprise and figured if they found it, I’d just go and put it in car . I put it in coat pocket on the far side of the guy and held my coat open wide, the wand went by my front pocket/ beltline and in I walked . second time ankle holster, it’s all about not slowing the line down and they do a fast wand of pocket area only . PNC park are walk through , but there is a slide on the outside where you place phones, keys and so on ,on. They never even look at the slide and you place and grab your own stuff, again they move you along fast . Other times I place it inside a collaspable umbrella that goes in our bag. Bags don’t go through detectors and are hand searched, which is little more then a quick look. It’s all largely a joke. Then if you want to shoot or blow up folks, you can do it outside where everyone is backed up at the detectors. Court rooms airlines sure its tighter , except I guess last year when my daughter had to lighten her checked bag, so she pulled out her day pack and carried that on. Complete with her Spyderco Delica ( knife ) and a can of Sabre Red pepper spray ....... oh they did make her empty her water bottle !

I often wait to just prior to the season , otherwise I forget where I stuck them .....
