59, and I have no,idea . I’ve just moved from hang ons to ladders and huts, well I,kept one LW hang on and sticks, in case I need to set up in a different spot fast . Almost all my bow hunting is alone, and I like that , just me walking in and out with a bow , just me to track and drag, I enjoy the solitude, and I don’t need help thank you very much .

Ok I’ll confess I almost went vegan over the summer, but I had a good reason . My wife and I were at the Public Market, she was outside sitting at a table while I waited inside for our breakfast sandwiches. I’m eyeing up,this very hot well built blonde, mid 40’s I’d say, well she comes over stands next to me and starts talking. We talk for like 10 minutes all the while she’s placing her hand on my arm and so on . Well she’s a vegan, and invited my to some vegan “fair “ the next week end , hands me some sort of card with info . Sadly I was working that week end .

Well one could actually feel a “ knot “ in my back which was the muscle that was hung up out of place , which is why in that situation rolling on that spot worked I guess . Good luck

My back is one of the few good parts I got left , I attribute that to deadlifts mostly . However your hamstrings attach to your spinal erectors, and tight hams cam bring about lower back issues, it may not even be the lower back that needs work it could be tight hams . Rest, ice , and drugs , then stretch , no relief see a Dr. My back was problematic a while back couldn’t figure it out, Finally went to the Dr. , trigger point spasm . Couple muscles locked up and wouldn’t go,back to normal position, told me to,roll against a wall on a lacrosse ball till I felt like crying , and repete a few sets a few times a day. A few rolls and I had great improvement. i had been stretching, drugs , hot tub , foam roller for a couple weeks , few minutes rolling on a ball fixed it.

I would draw the line at sniper rifles , basically bolt action rifles with scopes and capable of accurately shooting a few hundred yards . Nobody needs one of those ,plus I don’t own one so it’s ok. .

Since Heller , they’ve refused to hear any , and if Trump appoints another I’m all for another case . random thoughts Id draw the line for civilians at crew weapons for the most part . Anyone who thinks this is about assault weapons hasn’t been paying to much attention to what’s been coming out of the antis mouths . The 2A is not about hunting . You don’t want to fire a shotgun indoors without ear proetection . Birdshot at close range maybe, but I’ve seen folks shot with it the width of a city street and had a nice conversations with them . The Mrs. isn’t going to be working a 12 ga shotgun very well either. In the 90’s I was going to a shooting a week easy, and as many as 3 a night at times . Wow hot topic in my house lately . I’ve decided to retire May 25th, wife has been retired for a couple years , she’d love to,leave NYS, taxes ,regulations and so,on. But we have two daughters who,live here , and I don’t want to leave them , now if they’d move to Tennessee that would work ! Nephew lives there and my sister visits there often as well. As it looks now we’ll go to Fla for a bit over the winter . as much as I said I’d never live there ,looks like we’ll rent in the “ Villages “ her best friend lives there and my sister and bil just bought a there third home there . Taxes, regulations, weather , would,be my main reasons, guns just a plus .

Ok I marked some stands and such, numbers are stands ,white line deer movement near them ,blue line is a brush hogged trail between woods and thick stuff. Ok it’s next to impossible,to set up anywhere near yellow X out area, it doesn’t transition right from thicket to open woods, few good trees and still thick around it. That point to the East, is a big pile of bulldozed trees rocks and such, no place for a stand and that East field has very little deer movement , they may pop out of thicket but go right back in . Stand 1 classic inside corner great Am /PM. Stand 2 it only 15 yards in and lots of movement E/W my one friend sits there all the time killed lots of does and 2 1/2 there , no big ones as it’s to open around that stand . Stand 3 maybe 30 yards farther in , but since it’s way thicker better bucks move through in and out of yellow X area, farthest shot at all maybe 20 yards . Stand 4, 30yards in great movement and decent bucks , maybe more bucks then does, they travel N/S , But seldom walk by stand 2 after passing 4, they head more towards center . Stand 5 it’s 30yards in , and at the base of the sloped field they like to enter and exit there, bucks will come from yellow X area , as well as tear up the wood line there . I’m blew it on a monster there 2 years ago, my boot made the slightest squeak ....and gone . Stand 6 again 30 so,yards in, new last year jury still out. Stand 7 allows me with a rifle to hunt most of that little field lots of deer movement along edge of field and woods, in bow . The white line in that field is a drainage, it’s maybe two foot lower then the rest of the field and they walk it, DB picked up on the faint line in pic I guess and knew they would walk it as his stand, was right on the spot they enter / exit . Yes then can and are anywhere in yellow areas, I only hunt the edges trying to go,only 30or so,yards in . Some of the picks guys had are good spots, just impossible due to lack of sizable trees and brush so thick there are no shots, I’ve tried for a couple years to find a spot in the S/E corner of the large yellow area . A young guy from next farm over hunts the south edge of the thicket ( their farm at they point) and I’ve given him right of recovery. the farm plows up,the ground right after harvest btw . The open hardwoods in gun just shuts down , for the most part . Over 30years I’ve had stands and killed deer pretty much everywhere there, and didn’t list all,the spots ,it’s long enough of a post now .....

Imagine being a vegan on the FD. We have one nice guy good FF,But us being , well meat eaters to the extreme ,it makes for interesting meal times . One night we made a prime rib, I found him at 2 AM spraying the counters down with a cleaner ( well after we already cleaned up ). Tonight he sent me this pic from his firehouse , a vegan “ pig” cake they had , one of the guys wife makes these outrageous cakes . oh and there all vegans, till they get drunk and order chicken wings .....

It’s a good spot but was lacking last year , but my whole bow season did , I think due to no crops planted . You’re welcome to any spot . i just read DB’s post, prior I had just looked at his picks, I would hire him , as he nailed so many things that took me years of just stumbling around to,learn !
