I use the suspension relief straps that come with harnesses / stands .

Just started my 6th hour of this bow season . New spot the only opening in this part of the thicket , lots of trails. I’m in a triple tree.

Don't go to pick it up at the opening time which is I think 5:00 PM .Everyone has the same idea and the line is at its longest then .

The guy was " low hanging fruit " , same as arresting tourists with lockblade knives . Nice safe arrests, that builds up, and the numbers . Hit him up on the hunting charges , and keep a close eye on him back home .

Since I'll be live from the woods in a few hours I took a couple shots, phone was inside so no pics. But 1 BH dead center at 20 yards then 2 FP dead center at 20. The best news is shoulder did not hurt at all and it was the easiest draw this year !

Enjoy your retirement maxed out on LTs pay nice ! I'm retiring in May which will complete 28 years on the FD ( LT ) . I'll miss the clowns but not the circus .

I've been going to Tony since he started doing it out of his house off Bay road, I can't say how many years that's been 20 or more ? I will not go a year without those Slim Sticks ! I also regularly get pepperoni , and hotdogs as well , although I've had most of his stuff . Im not much of do it your selfer although that may appeal to some . Sure you can find someone to make stuff cheaper , the trick is to find someone who can do,it better . Make the trip and decide for yourself , time the pick up trip with when I'm off and come hunt a day or half day with me . I guess you'd have to time the drop off with me to hunt , often meat dropped off in gun isn't ready till after the season .

Sure cut up to the end of the month normally , beats raking .

They don't know a tree stand from a hunting " chair" , or a bow from a cross bow , so who knows what the "crow bar " could have been . I'm surprised they knew what corn looked like , but perhaps they did some sort of chemical analysis . Two , I would have no,idea where to,hunt deer there, I'm guessing he has friends / family there and or has hunted there before . Think he got caught the very first time ?

I wear the same gore Tex camo I've had for many years no idea the brand , but it's kinda worn and faded . I don't bow hunt in the rain either , sure I'll go in if its a light rain that's ending soon or wait out a short sprinkle . Such a long season and I have so much time off, I'd just rather not, same for sitting on the patio or riding my bike around the neighborhood . If I'm going to get wet on purpose it'll be in the hot tub ..

I have emails from the Chief of police as well as a town official who,has some roll in the running of the town hunt . They each believe this happened . Finding an unknown hunter who may not even be one registered in the town hunt may not be easy . There may never be an arrest, but wait a year and see if the hunt changes ...... No,I won't post their emails as I never asked if I could , but feel,free to,Google their emails and ask yourself , that's what I did , it's not hard . The investigation is being conducted by the DEC.at this time . You can also ask the tv stations why they won't cover it , my guess would be , perhaps the dog owner doesn't want to go,on tv , there has been no arrests and the DEC is saying "no comment ". So,what would the report a FB post ?

No . When I work nights I'm tired, and for two,days after as well . 5 or 6 hours of broken up sleep is pretty normal for me .

I Believe that pic is in the vets office , perhaps she trimmed it . Also I just heard from a second source confirming the investigation . From what I've learned they're sure looking at this as the dogs owner said it happened .

Beikirchs gave me a box of Fusions 120 , wow no felt recoil worth mentioning . I may use this gun myself . With purchase of the youth model , you get a coupon for an adult stock at half price . I burned through that box sighting it in, forgot the gun rest ....... Got it to, palm size groups at 100 . Going to grab a couple more boxes and shoot with her next week .

Once the shooting stops , it goes from active shooter to, barricaded gunman . Two totally different sops , bringing in swat takes a good amount of time and the pace is slow and methodical . Ive been on a few barricaded gunman, jobs , b-o-r-I-n-g ........ sit there for hours before they make entry .

I am 100 % certin that this took place at the Whitting rd spot pretty much as was posted on FB . The problem with sources that know the facts , sometimes they ask that you say nothing for awhile , and I have to honor that at this point .

I'll take a look , but I know that they respond to over 30,000 calls per year and the few i see on line or the Webster Hereld each week dont add up those numbers . No response from the town officels , one of whom I know . Trying a third shortly . And Happy Birthday !

Belo , ive never seen where the post ALL crimes , and I'm pretty sure they would not post all ongoing investigations . Anyways I've got a couple emails sent out today to pin this down .

Worked on sighting in this 7mm08 for my daughter today . Just a big picnic table on a farm field . Forgot the rest so used my ems bag from the car . Still need to shoot it a bit more .

Second sit of the season , hang on in the back of the woods . I seldom Hunt this spot , yet I’ve done pretty well back here .

Had no plans to go this morning , which was good as it sure rained here with strong winds. Ill be down there this afternoon , mostly to shoot the new 7mm08 I bought for our daughter and couple of my nines. Not sure which stand I'll use yet, would like to keep the walk in short and easy
