Oh I know it's a thing , and I've tried to do,it that way the last few years . All I'm saying is for many years I've killed deer out of stands and never knew I wasn't doing it right . I also always practiced from height from my first year and always take practice shots out of my stand when hunting , just don't notice much differance , let alone enough to miss the whole deer at 10 yards like was stated . In a couple weeks when I start practicing it'll be a fun test to measure the actual change in poi . Also, about the guy who misses whole deers at close range , did he never practice from height ? Because I'd think his poor form causing such large miss would have shown up in that practice , no ? I gotta hit the Lake have a nice day .

Idk . First I have much respect for,you as a hunter and person . But im not sure at ten yards not bending will cause a complete miss. Most of my years bow hunting (about 30) I never even heard of that , I killed a deer my first year and most since , never gave a thought to drawing upright and then bending for the shot . Ive stood , sat, leaned around the trunk , half squatted and everything else and I think I've missed a deer once maybe twice .

Nice to see this thread ! I guess in a week or two I'll have to dust off the bow and see if is on ( it will be ) , but tomorrow I'll be out on Canandaigua Lake , it's still summer boys ! May even hang my cams this week and some stands in a couple more weeks if it cools down .

Shot nothing but Magnus the last 25 years or so , starting with a 2 blade cut on contact swedged head, then Stingers both plain and buzz cuts . All flew the same as my field points , as any property tuned bow will .

Last night at Red Wing game with about 50 of the brothers , had a suite . Parking lot Coronas followed by Rohrbach Highlander. Group shot of FF , only slightly harder then getting 50 cats to line up .....

Never have . Some mornings I'll sit to maybe 11:00 ( but most times out before 10:00 ) that's about it for me . If i hunt afternoons I get in stand maybe two hours before quitting time .

Well odds are you'll get to meet them, as it's doubtful an arrow shot deer will stay on that small piece . Last year my bow buck went 75 yards which was sweet, but I've gone after double lunged ones 200 yards as well.

Id be working on recovery rights on neighboring properties .

Been to McSorley's oh it's neat and all and good history , although I don't believe to much of it, especially the wishbones covered in dust . Had the been there since WWI I'd think at some point the dust would have blown off or people would knock it off as they're within reach of the bar . I think they must reapply the dust . Do,like the history of banning women though . Heres yesterdays cans from my sisters , 3/4 million dollar house cheap beer....

I have a had time believing that 5 or 6 acres of corn and they get Nuisance permits ??? We have 3,000 acres and get around 5 . Dmaps ( extra doe permits ) 25 . 5 acres they would laugh in your face . I have first hand experience , not rumors or I heard of at the dinner .

Right now im drinking with my nephew from Tennessee, he's up for my Moms funeral . He knows Luke Bryant , their kids go to school together, trust me he's a pre package corporate " country star ." though he is a hunter, so he has that going for him

For me it's as complicated as predicting the weather in San Diego, I'll shoot a decent buck in bow and have fun clowning around with buddies in gun season , where we'll take some does to donate and please farmer .

Go with camo and orange , those are hunting colors . Neon green is so over done with the zombie craze .

Close to,30 years of killing deer with a bow , including the very first year, I've owned two bows. A Golden Eagle and a Reflex. Don't ask me about let offs , cams, risers , valleys because I don't know crap about those things . I got the Golden Eagle because a salesman at work back then used to,work,for them so he got one for me , 18 or 20 years later Phil at Indian MTN suggested I might like the Reflex . Its the carpenter not the hammer .

Well this was in the store today, not a good sign.....
