  1. Live in Webster, "Where life is worth living " Wife is from , and we own land in Canandaigua , " the Chosen Spot ." Shes currently in Fla. touring around and visiting friends all over, she just sent pics of a place she wants to buy in North Port I don't know their motto yet.... " Yankee go home ?" She keeps bombing me with texts , dropped 20k , comes with boat dock......
  2. I just left ESL on ridge , I had to pretend it was taking a long time to fill out the slip, so I could time it right and get the hot teller in the tight sweater . Sometimes it's the small victories that make the day !
  3. Stop by ill give you $75 for it .
  4. They seem to like apples and Skittles, but who doesn't ?
  5. Hotmail sever is down according twitter and news feeds .
  6. Hunting is a lot different up in the " big woods" , same for physics it seems .
  7. Well that's a bit of a drive , although our one daughter is right now in Brooklyn for the week end . She didn't bring any deer meat though . as far as cheap meat , ya if it's a hobby you'll spend a ton on it. Then there is my one friend bought a JC Higgens bolt action shotgun at a garage sale in the late '70s for $17. He still uses it .... Along with his Dad's old orange coat . He has one ladderstand he bought years ago. Kills a couple deer each year and cuts them up in his garage. If he spent $50 bucks a year, on deer hunting ( other then lic.) I'd be shocked .
  8. Anyone in the Rochester area, can get great German food at Swans meat market on Parsells ave. I never knew what real Geraman potato salad should taste like before going there . The owner makes all kinds of sausage products , as well as processing deer . They serve lunch a few days a week and have a large take out business . Its also in the hood , if that's a concern , but it's customers are largely left alone . http://www.swanmarket.com/
  9. Why don't you post where you live ? My freezer is over flowing , I could spare a few pounds . I'm in Monroe county.
  10. My ST. Patrick's Day tradition .
  11. Happy birthday ! In honor of your 35th birthday I've arranged for this Leprechaun to visit you for 35 minutes .

They all are when you're drunk and out of town ....
  13. Ours is all farmland, when we sell it most likely would be to the farmers who have been renting the farming rights , for decades, AKA her cousins , if I want to keep hunting their land anyways !! . . I'll keep an ear open though . My buddy picked up 60 acres on West Gullick rd Naples a few years back, flat, atv trails, ponds and so on . I'll have him look around his area too . I also work with a guy who also farms that area, I'll ask him too.
  14. 2k in Farmington seems cheap to,me. We own land in Canandaigua and the wifes cousins have a few thousand in Cand. , Farmington , Bloomfield . Farmland never even gets listed , a few large farm families buy it all up for much much more .

Very few of the rank and file of my union vote Democratic , and I'd think very few other blue collar ones do either . The international executive board may endorse them but few vote that way .

He's never been locked down inside with Mrs. 302.....
  17. I'm using my wife's car. That way if I get stuck I can just abandon it, and if it gets hit , hey not my problem . Oldest daughter is staying here to watch dog as im on nights. She's been making it to Strong and back fine. 4 good snow tires and front wheel drive, helps a lot. Most accidents we go to and stuck folks we help push out of snow banks, almost always have worn out all seasons....
  18. Took three ties to get up the driveway this AM. Idk another solid ten inches since I did it prior to,heading to work at 3:00 pm yesterday . I waiting till just before heading in again tonight to do it . Bad roads but easy commute as I'm always going opposite folks with " day" jobs" . Honestly my commute went from around 20 minutes in dry weather to around 25 . Four door sedan , don't even run snow tires .
  19. What I've been reading on other forums guys across the county say their is prices are high and their customer service is sub par . A guy on the job works the gun counter at the GM here . He says in anticipation of Hilary winning they bought 50 million worth of guns largely on credit as well . Who knows how true that is .
  20. Sigh ... They just canceled my wife's fight to FLA tomorrow! First it was cut back from 3 weeks to 2 because her hip surgery was moved up , now tomorrow's flight is cancelled. How much can one man take ? Mother Nature is sure sticking it to me with this one !

My plan is also 58 which I turn in a couple weeks .... May 27 th is my date to retire . It was a like that scale Lady justice holds. I'd be home and my wife would drive me nuts tipping it one way ,then go to work and be tired of all the BS tipping it back . Basically my body is shot, getting out while I can still move okay . Time for a beer !
  22. TCIII I'm sure you'll be fine, tons of guys do,that but there are risks . The wiring to your wall socket is not meant to carry the load for half your house which is why most back feed ,because it runs half your box , but with it all shut down but the furnace you should be ok . I'm no electrician , I've just seen a lot of bad hack jobs. like this next guy, we just got back from . He called when smoke stared coming from his over head light . He back feed his panel , said he only had one breaker on . " which one we asked ?" , " that one, it's off now " , " ok great , but those three are still on!" , " oh .... "
  23. This guy thought he know what he was doing , till his chargers and batteries for his cord less tools started on fire this morning ..... Couple issue with back feeding not mentioned yet. When you plug it into a wall you're running half your house on 12 wire or even 14 . So when the daughter uses a hairdryer and the Mrs uses the microwave that can lead to visits from us . Also generators produce " dirty power" so your computers and high end TV may get fried .
  24. Sure we got two empty bedrooms , and the hot tub is 102 . As I empty my freezer I fill it with gallon milk jugs of water to maintain a full, freezer and hold the temps down , if lose power .
