I put on my UB sweatshirt today for the first time in a long time. Daughter ( UB grad) came over tonight and put the game on, I had no,idea they were in March madness .

We're dinning out at an Italian restaurant tonight , we'll hit an Irish place on Columbus Day ....

When I work nights at the Firehouse I try to watch it, I get more than a little ribbing over that.

Guy at work makes beer. He's really good at it mostly goes into those small kegs, 3 of those go into a refrigerator with three taps in the door. Today he gave m this , a barley wine, 20%. We're headed to a play downtown now, so tomorrow night I'll try it .

Many of the sellers are would be actors and tourists pulled out of line and given objects and a brief story . Copied off an article about show. Like most reality shows, Pawn Stars has scripted drama between the show’s stars,Rick, Hoss, and Chumlee. The items featured on the show are not cold customers just randomly walking in, the items have already been researched and prepped for the show. It’s these types of things that lead some to cynically label the whole show fake, but that’s a bit naive. Maybe it could do without some of the little sketch-like interludes, but truthfully those do help us get to know some of the characters better.

For me, it would be bad..... But to each his own !

Rochester's St. Patrick's Day parade was today, my Truck Co. Covers parts of the area. Add 100,000 drunks , cars, crowds and we ran non stop all day . Came home from work and neighbors gave me this !

Here's my shocked face..... Search warrant related to a sexual assault investigation led to the drug and gun charges . They say he's a prohibited person, can't own guns, but only traffic tickets found in his criminal history , so,that's odd . Oh well the old advise of never break two laws at the same time holds up .

I have that ccb co lure. One in a beat up box is listed for $125 on eBay . Seen others asking the same. Try bring them to a sports/ gun show there are often old lure guys there.

My boats on the Bay as I live in Webster. Our friends have one of the boathouses on Cand. That's their boat in pic. My brother in law also lives in one of the townhouses on the North end. I hunt not far from he old Creekside gun shop.

Well it seems we're close to each other , here's a shot of me on Candandaigua lake. We own land in the town, wife's family was one of the first non Indian families in the area .

I picked up a box of old ammo at garage sale a few years back. 44 Russian and a bunch of other old stuff that I can't recall right now. If anyone of you want one for your collection , pm a address and I'll send you one of each . I know I have a bunch of nib old .22 as well. I also have 25-20 , both old and new, my Dads Marlin 25-20 has a 3 number ser. Number ....its from the late 1800's. I have a box of ammo he bought way back when .

I like to look at who gets really pissed off by a person, if the pissed off are largely those I don't care for, than that guy is for me . Trump it is !

This is sad but true. I work for the Rochester FD my truck co. Covers parts of route 490 and 590. Our dispatch info is often vague if not out right wrong. It seems many folks have no,idea where they are , they say 490 east because they are on the east side of the city, but they are in the west bound lanes..... They are 2 or 3 exits from where they think, and on and on. We use our personal iPhones and the Waze app to get the correct location.

13 years old washed dishes in a restaurant ( under the table ) made $ 25 for about 6 hours work. That had to be about double minimum wage in '72. Oh and all the shrimp I could eat when no body was looking !

Well she likes The Cracker Barrel so I hit the one by the airport on the way back , she's two weeks Into no cigarettes , so I don't argue with her at this point ! The morning starts off at a Lawyers office .... Finishing up protecting my Moms assets from the nursing home/ Gov.

Took the bride out for a late lunch in Buffalo , as we had to,drop off the youngest's car. So not to hungry now, so right to,this ! Look for some rambling posts to follow!

Not everyone Phil, I was rocking to Stevie Ray and his brother in the Fabulous Thunderbirds back then as well. Also had George Thorogood on 8 track way before any of my friends heard of him . James Cotton was my favorite blues player though . Damn wish my speakers weren't blown ......
