does anyone use Humistart in there fields? ...it is a fertilizer that contains 20% calcium...and a few other trace minerals........I'm waiting for the ground to dry to spread that and the Milorganite on a few spots.... http://www.molevalle...Soil_Conditi... No ...It says it has to be Cow pea...there is a inoculation that Seedland puts out that is a mix for just about every thing...trying to get it locally first...personally I don't under stand the difference...should but oh well...lol

So I got a call back....He is a hunter so knows about plots and such.... I explained what I'm planting and why and why I called gave him all info to look up...He thanked me and said they appreciate the heads up and at most if another agency had concerns a simple field test would clear it up...I said welcome any time ...thanks and now I can get it planted with out concerns...lol

I would say yes ...considering I said it is worth it for the cooler alone....remember I have 73 acres and we built a shooting range ...back stop and all... on our place years ago...plus camp......point would be for little amount dues are...I think 20.00 each for us....even if you don't use it a lot or even rarely it's good to have in case

the local drug enforcement investigators....I went to get the inoculation for my Sunn Hemp seeds...which I'm having a hard time finding ...did get soybean...any how the reactions I'm getting made me decide to head off any future problems with a call...I had the secretary laughing about it so she sees where it could be some what funny...The problem wouldn't be with the Sunn hemp...for it looks like really tall golden rod with a bright yellow pea shaped flower...but I ordered the climbing soybeans from another company....They sent me 3 8# bags and in each bag he added other seeds....for them to climb on...one bag has 1oz of Okra..which I can't get to grow here...another 1oz of sweet sorghum...not a problem ....but the third has 1oz of Kanaf...well I chose the Sunn hemp over the Kanaf when researching the seeds because of the pic below....So now I've been telling ppl I'm planting hemp and when it starts growing... if it grows... those leaves from the kanaf will be sticking out around the plot.....I can foresee a raid in my future ....lol http://www.kenaf-fib...oglie-kenaf.asp

We've belonged to one for years...but rarely use it....the meetings we don't go to because everyone smokes and it is beyond disgusting...we always sell all the raffle tickets and such...never won anything our selves...just our luck....but they host tournaments so the range is tied up a lot with those...unless you can use it during the day...did use their walk in one year for our daughters first archery kill a 6pt we hung there for a few days...so it was worth it for that alone...

a few guys in this area have been caught with corn piles so they do investigate ...but your right I've been in Henrietta and watched guys wondering around with literally carts chucked full of blocks ...stump licker.... acorn rage..not thinking any thing of itor go to Wht tail institute site and see all the testamonials for there deer blocks and minerals...all containing salt from guys in NYS....all giving their names! What bugs me about Gander is they are always in stock with that stuff but I'll be damned if they ever have the slugs or replacement blades or or bullet caliber I use...That just ticks me off....

If he's tearing up feeders and has NO fear of humans ...he most likely won't make it through summer....two falls ago when we went to the bear meeting the DEC got a nuisance call and two of them had to leave....they later found the bear and shot it....that one happened to be injured...broken jaw...figure a car hit...but they later told us that relocating just doesn't work...they almost always return to the area...so nuisance bears are shot...which is why they are coming down hard on the ppl feeding them albeit in bird feeders or garbage cans they'll find the source and fine the ppl Great pics you got though thanks

Nice job...I got a section of alfalfa/clover in...and it's raining nicely...But it is also calling for rain all week ...tad concerned...I have two new wood land plots I have to trim trees around...they've come in great but I missed judge the canopy...so will have much more fire wood soon...and a couple of bedding areas...which is OK because I've killed 4 emerald ash borers....so the ash should go any ways....

So go to say weather underground and type in your town..or rather town you are hunting in...on that page it will give you the sun rise sun set times for your areas....I always keep a sheet with me during deer season especially...... so I'm not too early nor too late...know a guy that got nailed coming out of the woods with his deer and it was 5mins past shoot time when the ECON officer heard the shot...stopped and waited for him...Not like driving I guess...no 5mph over reprieves

Birds crave calcium...that's why we supplement the chickens with oyster shell...it replenishes the calcium they loss in egg production ...makes eggs less fragile and helps reduce chickens eating there own eggs before we get them.....

We just bought one....with 3 different sized buckets...they are great to have...got a double axle trailer to move it and the big JD....and a Diesel 4x4 from Colorado to haul the trailer and equipment...love the "thumb" for grabbing brush ...logs and stuff

Oh and alls been quiet here.;..I think Mr B is just bugging when he says he's heard gobbles when I slept in....dang if anything but crows and woodpeckers are making noise when I go out...and I'm about sick to death of crows....

Sleep patterns down.. ....due to allergies I usually have 3+ nights of interrupted sleep ...so around 2-3am I know I need to turn off the 3:45 alarm and sleep in... I have not heard a gobble in days the mornings I've gone out....and every morning I haven't.... Mr B hears a single gobbler sound off in different areas of the property between 5:30 and 7am...he's out there laughing at me....lol
