Any idea where to find what would be a good price for a used barrel If I was to list it somewhere?

I have a Browning BPS 12 gauge with a Buck Special barrel. Rifled sights. Eyes are fading as I get older. Thinking of getting a cantilever barrel and putting a scope on it. Wondering where I can find a place tho find out the going price for the barrel with rifled sights to sell. Anyone know of any gun shops that would take the barrel on trade for a new one? My dad had a buck barrel for a 20 gauge Remington 870. Took it to a dealer in Rochester and he took the buck barrel on trade for the new cantilever barrel and scope. My dad doesn't remember the name of the place.

Very well said. I like the points you brought up. Hardening the entrance to schools is a must. Prevents a shooter from gaining access to a school or a classroom. But never have kids escape through a classroom window.

I’m not sure what led to the demolishing of Waco, or the hurry to get things redone in Vegas. I know if they choose to build a new school in Texas the old one will probably not be torn down right away. They built a new 9th grade wing at Stoneman Douglas school in Florida. The old 9th grade wing is still there, unoccupied, and surrounded by a 25 foot high fence. It can not be torn down until the shooters trial is over. Sandy Hook was torn down a few months after that shooting. But all evidence was collected. And they did not need to keep it until end of trial since shooter died so no need to keep it.

Depending on what you are looking for it may not be on their site depending on the time of year. I was looking for some boots I saw at Bass Pro when I was there in February. Couldn’t find them online. Called customer service and guy told me they would be available again but not until fall. Wanted to buy in February but didn’t have my size. I need to replace the ones I have. Lol

Glad everyone is feeling better. My son tested positive yesterday. He had it in December and got sent home from school early before the semester ended. Never thought he would have it again 4 months later. Hoping it doesn’t make it through the family like it did in December

I wish we could play with the temperatures. I’d have nothing over 45 degrees after 10/1. Nothing higher than 35 would be my ultimate wish after 10/1. To bad we can’t do that. Lol

I don’t see it affecting me at all. Yes higher gas prices suck but it won’t change any day to day activities.

I’ve never had any issues getting a good night sleep during hunting season. Always figure when I want to get up, how much sleep I want and go to bed at that time. If I don’t get enough sleep it is because I didn’t stick to that plan and got wrapped up drinking beer at a neighbors or at the bar in the basement. So that is on me. Lol

People have been pushing for this for a long time. Had a feeling it would get changed at some point. I never understood the issue with having to change the clock or it getting dark earlier in the winter. I read the other day after seeing a couple Senators in NY were proposing this for the state that during the summer sunset will actually be about a half hour earlier if the change is made permanent. Guess we will see what happens.

Moderation will not hurt. Abuse will unfortunately. I have seen it myself. Am currently watching my cousin kill himself because he likes to drink. His kids don’t even associate with him anymore and he could care less. As long as he has that 30 pack of Busch beer every day he is perfectly happy. It’s a shame to see unfortunately.

Their insurance companies will pay. Some people think it is a good idea to have free health care for all, or universal health care. If that happens we all will be paying for it. Let’s hope that never gets passed.

Yup. Been a Braves fan since mid 80’s. But like I said season is WAY to long. I’m lucky if I watch 2 or 3 games during the regular season. Baseball isn’t good until the playoffs. Very disappointed there will be 12 teams in the playoffs starting this year. Should stick with old format. Adding teams is almost as bad as NFL considering changing OT rules. No need for it.

Some of the best years my kids had was playing travel Lacrosse during the summer. I don’t miss paying for gas, hotels, having to pay for breakfast, lunch, dinner for a full weekend, etc. but I’d do it all over again if they wanted now that they are in college!!
