    I was pulled over by a trooper years ago , super cool guy .I informed him i had a shotgun behind my seat ,he asked to see it and commented on how nice it came up as he shouldered it a few times.

    You forgot to add that the fuel for their dump truck was taken from the local orphanage's heating oil tank.

    Surely the locals would know where the deer are , it would be a shame if people were out taking walks at night and their flashlights were to bright for someone sniping deer with night vision .

    My wife and I just joked about it 45 minutes ago when she mailed a thank you card to someone who lives 1/4 mile away.

    I still think one of my biggest reasons for hunting is to spend time with my father. I just don't think hunting will be the same when he retires and I have to make the 2 hour trips alone.

    I would not stay in my current home , it would be cheaper to buy a new place then it would be to buy all my neighbors houses and knock them down.

    I used to wear a leafy suit as my last layer ,it was just one of those things I could tell was allowing me to move to just a bit more with out getting picked off. I need to get another one,I actually hunted hunted a few really warm days with with just that over shorts and a t shirt.

    Knee jerk reactions is the norm these days , it would have taken a few minutes to track down the owner of the truck and find out why it was there . The school district is surrounded by farmland and the reservation ,a lot of the population hunts around that school . I could see if it was a school in the city of buffalo ,then it would throw up a red flag.

    I'll give you some info I discovered this year while bowhunting. I was using a fleece like water resistant shell as an outer layer and the material would stick to the tree like velcro,when ever I moved away from the tree it would sound like velcro pulling apart,just not quite as loud.

    I'm late to the party here...but did anyone watch the video of them shooting one ? They didn't even show what the hose was connected to that they used to fill the gun with .

    Archer Joseph 8 lbs 6 oz. Mom is doing really well,the nurses all commented on how fast she came around after the surgery.

    For the future. The wife and I finally got our first born out today. What an experience to say the least.

    Happy new year everyone ,the wife and i are headed to the hospital at 7:30 to get induced , what a big change from our plans last year.

    We were shooting over the summer , kevin was shooting his 30-06 and dave was shooting his .308 (some of you already know where this story is going) Kevin takes a shot and i immediately notice the difference in sound , right then and there i told him to stop and sure enough he had loaded a .308 round in his 30-06. Rifle and shooter were not harmed,luckily . No more shooting off the same table anymore at the same time.

    My best friend had a party back when we were in high school and his lab was drinking beer out of cups left on the ground ,he spent the rest of the night humping everyone's legs (the dog ,not my buddy)

    Yuck,nothing worse then credit card debt. We actually just paid off our credit card ,i hate those things.

    Just sat down to eat a bowl of chicken soup ,im not sure what i got into but i feel like crap today . Upset stomach, zero energy and slight body aches.

    It really is cool to see what is going on at your treestand when you're not there. It's also nice to know what is going on at your other stand you chose not to sit in so on those slow days you arnt second guessing the stand that you did choose.
