    I think many hunters are miss calculating distances. We have all shot low or high, i think majority timeits because we are not accurate on distance. Ideally, I need a bow that shoots 0-40 flat.

    I'm wondering, do you guys and gals use yardage markers for distance accuracy? If so, how do you do it? I have trees marked at 20 but that's it. I'm thinking about marking another at 40, in between would be 30. Just curious.

    I was never interested in shooting great distances, but with the ever changing technologies I feel I have to. I never thought it was worth it or practical but this year I'm hunting with a 40 yard pin.

    Quartering away, most room for error. Deer is usually at ease because already walking away. Can draw a little easier without be detected.

    Yes, I saw big 8 standing over a doe on the throughway. He looked aggressive and determined.

    I did this through the DEC, to be honest, good guy but not informative at all. Was sort of a waste of time. This might only be my experience but I thought it would different.

    Im not sure, doesn't sound like it would be to appealing or attractive but to each his own. I think it's cool that you are willing to do it. Let's us know how it comes out.

    You know why I hate that they sell more and more junk. When these appliances only last a few years or so, it's nearly impossible to throw them out!!! Nobody wants the the tv's or electronics, the Freon, the oil in the motors. Why not have these billion dollar companies be responsible, it's their junk to begin with. No, no, they can reap the incredible markups and also rid themselves of the responsibility of recycling or turn in. Wow, we the consumers are the ones losing here... It's starting to hurt on principle alone.

    I don't like the article at all. Too vague, not in depth and I would say inaccurate. We have some great hunting!

    I would use your current gun. 1022 is one awesome gun. I have Ruger camo synthetic with scope and shoulder strap, great gun!

    I'll take the warm temps now. I think there was less sightings because of the weather alright, not from the warmth but from that brutal winter of last year.
