  1. Well done! Shot placement is key in this weather. Way to get it done.
  2. Awesome buck! Brow tines look incredibly long. Go get him...
  3. They are actually Deer Mice. Be careful with their droppings, they are known carrier of the haunta virus. If you have infestation and a lot of droppings spray down first. You want to avoid them becoming airborne, that's when it's dangerous.
  4. I'm a fleet manager, we have all makes. By far GM the easiest to work on. Diesels I give it to Chrysler hands down.
  5. Damn coyotes. They are like zombies. And what do we do to zombies, that's right. Kill them. Not enough people hunt them, Including me. Their population is an epidemic.
  6. They're all great when they're running but junk when not. I know one thing, they are way over priced! If I had my choice, Chevy, Ford and very distant 3rd would be a Dodge. Good luck with your next truck.
  7. Very awesome, that's probably as rare as harvesting a 130 class...
  8. I'm home with the family. Headed up Sunday to cut one last time. So-so weather, leaves on trees, very warm, it seems like a good weekend to say" hun, you are right, let's do something with the kids, let's rent a movie and order out". Haha, might even get lucky! My season starts next weekend.
  9. I want to try this, maybe next year. Let us know your success.
  10. Lol, Zag, we said that when we finally bought a generator!
  11. Hopefully water next year. We figure our Dad isn't getting any younger, let's make it happen...
  12. Finally had enough with the generator. No more gas, noise, cold nights, etc, etc. My Brother and I decided on underground and 150 amp service. It was an ordeal but we're about finished. Going to be different but I feel we'll get use to it rather quickly!
  13. I'll be there cutting lanes. You see, If I don't get the lanes cut, it really doesn't matter what I see. I have to make my time count. The only time I can go is this weekend. It is what it is.
  14. Umbrella is great, they won't notice. They're a bit noisy but a necessity in the rain. Make sure you attach high in tree or top of the limb will hit when standing and drawing.
  15. I would hunt in light rain in a second. However, having a busy schedule with my kids and all other things I find myself opting for the better weather weekends. I'm staying home this weekend so I can hunt 3 long days next weekend. Get my chores done now and enjoy the family, Columbus weekend in my stand.
  16. I do get lured in occasionally but agree that it's mostly marketing. I recently watch myth busters, it was a scent control show. They tried to hide a human from a bloodhounds nose. Not only did not work, it had negligible effect. The dog located the human immediately. And....correct me if I'm wrong, Deers nose is more acute than any dog. I vote for gimmicks.
  17. I think you are justified. However, what's your buddy say, it's really his decision effects him more than you.
  18. Fixed 3-blade Muzzy,100 grain. Awesome tips, have had great success with them.
  19. Awesome bucks... I literally have been pulling cards for 2 months, I have 1 decent buck and two resident 4 points. Lots and lots of doe though. Hopefully they bring in a stud early November. Good luck!
  20. What a man, what a legend and what a sport he helped build!

So general consensus is 30-40. I'm good with that.
  22. To sightin, just follow arrow. If poundage is low I doubt any issues. Take your time and adjust in small increments, don't over tighten the allen screws, they can break or strip easily.
