  1. Good for you.......just stuff to real in more prospective feesh.
  2. Looks like a lot of junk. Don’t be fooled by it, none of it is worth a nickel. Sorry.....

  4. 2.5 years old and dressed weight 143lbs, maybe.
  5. You still live at home, don't you?
  6. All ready to skin. I had some driveway work done and the contractor dumped some fill then I (after this picture was taken) spread three yards of topsoil then seeded it, hence the rough ground around it. The soffits are done and door is on. The new grass is coming in but in the three and a half weeks since first seeded we've had a TON of rain and I was forced to scratch it up and re-seed all of it. It's coming but so is Christmas...............
  7. As my friend Pygmy says "hehehe"....... https://huntingny.com/forums/topic/52646-dear-crappyice/
  8. That doe I killed yesterday was skinned yesterday shortly after gutting then quartered and boned out this morning, all at my buddies place in his barn. I do that whenever warm temperatures are present or forecast. I like to cool them out as quick as possible to keep the meat from going south....... As far as the new skinning shack, I look forward to cooler temps and doing things in there when I can. I had to post this here so both you and I don't get a "time out" from the mods for posting our gibberish in the "Harvest Thread". Your friend, Larry
  9. Hopefully a doe is worthy of posting here as that's exactly what I killed yesterday morning. I wasn't on stand very long before a very respectable buck went by me at about 30 yards, too thick and too far for my taste. I saw another deer shortly afterwards in the same area as the buck but couldn't identify it. Maybe 30 minutes later a commotion straight east of me turned into a small 5-6pt buck chasing a doe like it was November 1st. Man was he dogging her........ Then maybe 20 minutes later this doe came by me accompanied by a couple fawns and a bigger adult doe. I shot the first one and my guess is she was 1.5 years old......the shot was a touch back but caught the back of at least one lung. It was a pass through and went about 125 yards. I gave her 3 hours but imagine it was over fairly quick. The scale says 95 pounds........
