I’m up........ -
Jeez.....I think since 2/2018 we’ve resurfaced the driveway (from the sidewalk to the garage and side of garage) widened the driveway apron from 1.5 to 2+ cars with concrete, new front entry door, new skinnin’ shack addition to the original shed, a shiit ton of topsoil & grass seed and the other day added a couple new boxwoods to the side of the house. Wednesday a new patio set comes...... The wallpaper NEVER looked better.

Wow things are looking very good for Marty.......... Inside joke there, hopefully they both get great bucks!

Huh, I must have missed the invitation to shoot today..... Glad your daughter handled it well!!

I like it a lot.

Pretty simple for me.....Screaming Eagle Hang Ons. I do have one ladder stand but it's assembled but on the ground, not up. I doubt it'll be up for archery hunting but hopefully will be for gun.

LOL.......Come on William, you need to lighten up. When you do kill that big buck this fall you'll see it's not about the weight of said buck (or big doe for that matter) it's about the post death condition of a deer, not unlike a 150lb bag of water with a handle at one end.......then make sure that bag of water is wet with blood, mud, snow etc. Then you have to jump into your sedan and drive home. Hopefully you'll have a bunch of Handi Wipes ready to go due to all the mess on your hands. For the rest of the guys & gals here, having a cap on your trucks makes loading tougher too, hence ramp/winch combo. (oh and Handi Wipes too) https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=handi+wipes+walmart

I’ve crapped in some wild places!! One time I was visiting my mom’s grave in Forest Lawn and got all shook up. All of a sudden I had to go NOW. My only option was a 5 gallon bucket in my cargo van....not to be deterred, I did what I had to and went back to the headstone to finish my visit. There’s many more such stories but dinners ready.........

Charles Atlas: 150 pounds of freshly killed deer isn’t like 150 pounds of dumb bells.......

Your question is confusing to me......You asked if we load are deer by ourselves but then you say you use a deer cart. A deer cart isn't really used to load a deer, it's used to get a deer out of the woods. Did you mean a "Hitch Haul" like TF & wolc show? As for loading deer into a p/u truck (the only thing I can relate to) alone, I use a 2"x12"x6' with 1x4 boards screwed to the sides to keep the deer less inclined to slide off when getting winched up. The winch is secured with 2"x4" framing secured at the front of the bed of my Tacoma. I don't have any pics of my current set up but have one of my first attempt at figuring out what would work best for me....... Most 1.5 year old doe and buck I can load alone but some of the older heavier deer (approx 140lbs and up) I need help with. Although I'm getting older and weaker, the deer seem to be getting heavier in the area I hunt.

Happy Birthday........what's the plan for the day?

The wife and I are in Wellsboro Pennsylvania for a couple nights, celebrating our anniversary. Tonight we went to "The Steak House" on some strong recommendations from a couple friends down here. I've been coming to this area for almost 35 years and never ate there. I had a 16oz prime rib (end cut, of course) and my wife had a pork chop with some sexy sauce on it........both were outstanding! Three sides from a long list of choices gave us salad, baked potato and green beans. Even those were great. What a great meal............ https://www.thesteakhouse.com/index.html

Hopefully your planning pays off!! Also, I hope your safety harness is connected to a life line so you’re attached BEFORE you leave the ground.
